  • hey bro.. this is erni.. can't wait to go your place..

  • well there are a few with solar panel here but no one truly off grid like this. with the batts it took me a while to find the batts i wanted everyone here is locked into thinking one way and can not think outside of that. so after many hours on the phone> i found a local manufacture People battery here is there # 722-2636 ask for jackie tell here jamie sent you that should make it easier on you. And going threw all the headaches as i did.

  • Nice project. You are the first one I saw having project like this, off-grid, in the Philippines. I am also working on this. I have started with solar panels, with a couple of car batteries, inverters & charge controllers.

I am trying to source marine batteries in Manila. Appreciate if you could tell me where you got yours shown in your video.

    Best regards,

    csimbaku

  • thanks well i have tried to think out everything before i started. Right now for water for showers and baths i heat a small camping solar shower and a 5 gallon bucket thats paainted black on my roof.

My next project is a solar hot water heater once i find the copper tubing here for it. if not i will use steel and make a parobolic lens and try that

  • you are doing good for a newbie.

what do you use to heat the water?
