I had another neighbors cat get into my garbage every week. I got tired of it. This was before I had a rifle. So I caught it and threw it in the trunk of my car. I drove 25 miles south to a dump and let it go. Each month I saw that cat walking around the dump fat as hell. I guess I did it a favor. My neighbor spent days walking around outside calling it "Rainbow.....rainbow.....rainbow." When I go to the dump I call "Rainbow" and it looks up at me. LOL, funny shit.

@dontyouido Nope, God's honest truth, but I can't go to jail because there is this wonderful thing called statute of limitations and the cat killing was a couple decades ago in another state. Doesn't justice suck? I can write a book about it now. Hope you enjoyed it. I certainly did. These weren't pets, they were neglected pets permitted to roam and fuck up my yard and trash. Do that and expect them to disappear. I'm not alone.

This is how pets play, and you have to know those animals and the noises they make, etc., to be able to determine if they really are fighting. Like my cats (littermates, a brother and sister) box all the time, but I only intervene if I hear hissing. Some cats hiss more often and it's a part of their playing. I'm just saying it really looks like the dog was in no danger.
My cat Misty does this when one of the other animals in the house "misbehaves" She's the matriarch in the family lol she doesn't hurt humans AT ALL. She'll bring down the hand of justice HARD if she needs to ;P

one time 3 strey cats came into our back yard i had no idea they were but my dog had been cooped up inside all day so i let him out and thats when i realized the cats my dog was sprinting at these 3 cats and completely decked one of them. this is when i ran outside trying to get her back inside. the 2 other cats were swiping at her she lunged at one of the cats tails and threw her across the yard. the other cat hopped the fence to escape i felt extremly bad and scolded my dog

I have a guard cat, Diamond. Like a week ago, my best friend walked in without knocking. My cat ran from my room upstairs, to the living to bite, scratch, and chase my friend out the house. It was so funny, and my friend learned a lesson that I've been trying to tell her for months. And the funniest part of it is she bullies my two guard dogs, (Phoenix and Soxs) Tee Hee xD
I don't think the dog is a bad dog but when he pulled at the night gown and didn't let go, but as a parent and dog lover, you need to learn to control your dogs' behaviors. The dog was getting a little too rough playing with the girls IMO. It seems innocent but it can easily spiral out of control and by the time you realize something is wrong, someone is already hurt.
@Lby54229 I agree, with the addition that kids also need to be taught how to behave around dogs and not to tease them. "Kids being kids" is no longer a valid excuse. Odds are the adult behind the camera was egging them all on. When I was little and if I got bit, my folks had no problem telling me if it was my fault.
For safety and fairness and pleasant times for everyone, both pets and kids (and adults :P) need to learn how to behave together. :)
@equusreined Fully agreed. Granted they may not normally allow the dog to do this but every lesson counts. Let the dog go to the bathroom in the house once, and you find yourself retraining them all over. Not to mention, that house must be total chaos...parent's letting the puppy put holes in the kids clothes, cat attacking the puppy and watching. One day when that dog's all grown up its going to maul that cat. Proper behavior is -constantly- taught.
I had an attack cat like this. Big burly cat named Rex. Got him when I was still in preschool. Sweetest cat in the world to me, but the moment he heard yelling he attacked without remorse I can remember one time the dog stole something off of a plate and I started yelling at her and Rex came barreling in and started smacking away!

the neighbors dog was barking at me and my cat Dickens came charging out of the house and threw herself at the Jack Russell's face, claws flying.... the dog never came back

I have a guard cat, Diamond. Like a week ago, my best friend walked in without knocking. My cat ran from my room upstairs, to the living to bite, scratch, and chase my friend out the house. It was so funny, and my friend learned a lesson that I've been trying to tell her for months. And the funniest part of it is she bullies my two guard dogs, (Phoenix and Soxs) Tee Hee xD

I don't think the dog is a bad dog but when he pulled at the night gown and didn't let go, but as a parent and dog lover, you need to learn to control your dogs' behaviors. The dog was getting a little too rough playing with the girls IMO. It seems innocent but it can easily spiral out of control and by the time you realize something is wrong, someone is already hurt.

@Lby54229 I agree, with the addition that kids also need to be taught how to behave around dogs and not to tease them. "Kids being kids" is no longer a valid excuse. Odds are the adult behind the camera was egging them all on. When I was little and if I got bit, my folks had no problem telling me if it was my fault.
For safety and fairness and pleasant times for everyone, both pets and kids (and adults :P) need to learn how to behave together. :)

@equusreined Fully agreed. Granted they may not normally allow the dog to do this but every lesson counts. Let the dog go to the bathroom in the house once, and you find yourself retraining them all over. Not to mention, that house must be total chaos...parent's letting the puppy put holes in the kids clothes, cat attacking the puppy and watching. One day when that dog's all grown up its going to maul that cat. Proper behavior is -constantly- taught.

I had an attack cat like this. Big burly cat named Rex. Got him when I was still in preschool. Sweetest cat in the world to me, but the moment he heard yelling he attacked without remorse I can remember one time the dog stole something off of a plate and I started yelling at her and Rex came barreling in and started smacking away!

@gojirarex1985 children and indeed all humans but esp. children bc of their higher pitched voices ; are considered by cats to be part of the herd. dispite popular belief, cats are social animals with their own social hierarchy.
