I am a tennis player and coach and I agree with your comment. Afterburning training is highly use in tennis as we do need strength but little fat. Our guys are strong but they will never be big.
My son on the other hand likes bodybuilding and he does eat a lot bring lot of calories but not too much at (just enough none the less).

Currently I'm doing a 5 day split resistance program, how often should i be doing the after burn training along with my bodybuilding program, before it becomes not beneficial at all for me?

SEe this is what's awesome about luimarco, even though he's a body builder, he's not going to shit on or knock another effective training method that isn't geared toward his specialty. Lui's an honest guy that' gives out some valuable info along with showing us how he can munch on ice cream daily.
I thought afterburn training was just cutting your rest time down to 20 seconds max because the less rest you have the more calories you will burn by keeping your heart rate high.
When I did that, I found super setting different was amazing because it meant you rest time was however long it took you to pick up a different set of dumbbells or change the bench angle and you were off again. This was great because it meant one muscle was resting whilst the other was working.
So it's basically triggered by any type of workout that involved internal training? Such as HIIT and weight training... like 30 second all out and then rest 30 seconds right.
I never heard about this training before and its always good to learn something new. It does sound rather accident prone to me with the changing of cardio and such.
I might try it once for fun, it does sound like an intense workout.

3/4 times a week sets of 25 leg lifts (with a weight depending on strength) really helps u get phenomenal results
