    I am a tennis player and coach and I agree with your comment. Afterburning training is highly use in tennis as we do need strength but little fat. Our guys are strong but they will never be big.

    My son on the other hand likes bodybuilding and he does eat a lot bring lot of calories but not too much at (just enough none the less).

    Anyway, what I was going to say is: "nice video & looking forward to watch your others"

  • Hey Lui, just noticed that you said combining affterburn exercise with a body building program is not a good idea, and that special consideration in implanting both of these programs together is needed. How would you suggest doing this?

    Currently I'm doing a 5 day split resistance program, how often should i be doing the after burn training along with my bodybuilding program, before it becomes not beneficial at all for me?

    Im quite confused on how to implement both programs together.

  • @RuthlessUP I'm trying to build muscle yes, but trying to maintain my stomach, if not burn off the fat to. I'm aware of dietary considerations. and I'm pretty confident that I'm on top of things in regards to my diet. but some i can see myself tweaking my program if/once I combine both after burn training to my program

  • Good video Luimarco!!! Thanks for the info! I've read your plan and it makes alot of sense. I definetily am going to try it. The only thing is that I work 9 to 5 and was wondering what the workout schedule and meal schedule would look like for someone in my current situation (I'm sure there are many people in the same situation). The cardio in the morning is not a problem. But since I will be lifting weights around 6h00 PM, I was wonderring about my carb intake in the evening which is basica

  • Hey Lui im starting your plan in 2 days but i have no experience in the gym im also quite over weight(168cm. 100kg. Just an approximate ) so at first i want to loose a lot of fat although i have trained before as i did sport in school. My request is for you to do a video for people that is overweight and want to start going to the gym.

  • @pyplyn1 when u get to gym get on treadmill and bike lose some weight then start doing some weight lifting or u will hurt your joints

  • @pyplyn1 if u are under 19 you can mix running with jumping techs. if u want to grow some size in height

    i preffer free running or basketball i grew about 5 inches

  • Lui hopefully this question gets liked, what can we do if we have that last bit of fat on our pecs but it's really ugly looking fat like loose fat but it's not so loose at the same time?   • @MJCINC leg raises (with a weight depending on strength) on a bench with a slight decline, lui does them for his abs check his program

  • @MJCINC depends, abs are a muscle u can hit every other day to get great results, really depends on your dedication.

    3/4 times a week sets of 25 leg lifts (with a weight depending on strength) really helps u get phenomenal results

  • hey bro how many calories are u gona consume now that ur cuttin? Im doing 12calories per lb of bodyweight! 404020 split..thats around 2400 cals but each week i will drop 30g of carbs which is 120cals drop per week.. how does it sound?

  • Hei lui can you please explain ''breathing squats'' and how to do them/how they work , i am 18 and still growing slowly and i heard that this exercise is pretty good for expanding the ribcage size and works pretty well if you are under 20 because it stretches and expands your cartillages, please thums up cause i am runnung out of time ! :D

  • @abdullahazaz Sorry but it has been proven scientificaly and medically you cant enlarg your ribcage by doing exercise like that.

  • SEe this is what's awesome about luimarco, even though he's a body builder, he's not going to shit on or knock another effective training method that isn't geared toward his specialty. Lui's an honest guy that' gives out some valuable info along with showing us how he can munch on ice cream daily.

  • I thought afterburn training was just cutting your rest time down to 20 seconds max because the less rest you have the more calories you will burn by keeping your heart rate high.

    When I did that, I found super setting different was amazing because it meant you rest time was however long it took you to pick up a different set of dumbbells or change the bench angle and you were off again. This was great because it meant one muscle was resting whilst the other was working.

    I never heard about this training before and its always good to learn something new. It does sound rather accident prone to me with the changing of cardio and such.

    I might try it once for fun, it does sound like an intense workout.
