@zzzhuh they're not talking about the bass guitar, they mean the gross bass output of the audio track is too much, that to keep that dry, buzzsaw sound in the guitar you need to have the bass down otherwise the eq of the track will be 'befuckled'.

Look all you so called Metallica fans hate too break the news but all but 3 songs on Kill 'Em all were actually written by Metallica, Bass solo, Hit the lights, and Seek and Destroy were actually written by Metallica The rest were written by Dave check the Song Credits on the album Then name of the albuw should have been "Dave Wrote 'Em All" cuz he did.

LMFAO Ya got that ass backwards bud. Dave Mustaine only CO-WROTE 3 songs on Kill 'Em All and they were on their demo No Life Til Leather. Those songs are "Jump In The Fire", "Phantom Lord", and "Metal Militia". Dave wrote the original "The Four Horsemen" called "The Mechanix" with his first band Panic. Other than that EVERYTHING else on Kill Em All was written by James Hetfield. Check your facts before you try to be a know it all next time.

u forgot, ride the lightning, lepper messiah, he had the original idea of "now i lay me down to sleep.." of enter sandman, actually his song "go to hell" as these lines and was before enter sandman, and the riff of "the call of ktulu"

ACTUALLY I didn't forget anything! I was talking about Kill Em All and as far as Rid The Lightning, Lepper, and The Cal Of Ktulu go, Dave only wrote ONE riff in each song. . .He credit in them but that is in no way co-writing a song. The "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep" prayer being Dave's idea is complete bullshit. It was actually an idea that Cliff had and you need to check your facts about when the songs came out because they came out and were recorded at pretty much the same time.

you are giving dave WAY to much credit to dave for those songs that he had no help with. He CLAIMS that he wrote the main riff for Leper Messiah. but he did not cause he later said it was false claim. he did write most of Ktulu. wrote 4 songs for KEM (2 he wrote only solos and side riffs) and he wrote RTL but thats it! so when you break it down he wrote about 1.2% of their whole success. Dave copies Metallica alot more than you think

I don't even need to speak about how good that record is. Early Metallica were the original prototypes. And exodus/overkill/DRI/ANTHRAX/te­stament and a few others
