The actually have F2P in some version now, if you create a free trial account, and then when the 14 days are up you will still be able to login and play as Rifleman and SMG, but you cannot spawn any other units, and you cannot capture any flags. So to be able to access the full game you would have to pay, they have a special prize for Free trialers of 12.99$ / a month for 3 months, after those 3 months it will be the normal prize of 17.99$ / month. In tier 0 (1940) Germans suffer (as in the reality) the heavy armored French and British vehicles (S35, Char B1 bis, Matilda), but Axis still have only 1940 vehicles. And this is correct because this is what really happened in 1940.

When tier 1 and 2 come (1941-42) the situation should be reversed (as in the reality) but this doesn't happen, and Allies receive 1944 equipment to compensate Axis power. This is historically unrealistic and unfair for Axis

Well, I am seriously thinking about getting back into this game after a couple years off. The only reason that I quit was because of financial difficulties at the time. And to those people that shit on Battlefield or Modern Warfare BECAUSE of people shitting on this game seriously need to think about the irony of that for a second. I for one used to love this game and I loved Bad Company 1 and 2 along with Battlefield 2 and Operation Flashpoint. I just love games. Some more than others.

@lordAable You can choose to spawn anywhere you want, but you can usually spawn pretty close. There are bases, like the one you see in this video, that you can spawn in, and there are also "forward bases" that are established by truck drivers that you can spawn at that are usually located either close to a friendly base under attack or close to an enemy base so that you can quickly assault it without having to take a long walk or drive.

This game uses a ridiculous amount of physics. It calculates every single round fired from every single player. Air, sea and land. Ships, inf, tanks, planes, projectile velocity, AOA, bullet drop, and on and on. Graphics suffer for the realism. However I am an old school gamer. Therefore I would rather play a difficult game with so so graphics, then BF2BC that any 3 year old could play.

I am fine leaving the xbox ritalin kids to the high graphic games.

its not like every time is a 1 shot kill on this tho, like i ran up these stairs and at the top is enemy soldier he shoots me with rifle as i'm running past him, i think he hit my arm or leg, i live and hit him with a rifle nade from liek 5 feet away, were in this attic now- it should have killed us both but it wounded me again and killed him. each piece of shrapnel is tracked from explosion so lucky stuff like that can happen- the shrapnel missed me and he was killed by the concussion or both

God I hate this game. You walk for 1 hour, fight for 20 seconds, die, repeat. You might think "Well, go back to COD", No, I can handle patience. I can handle waiting in a town for 30 minutes to defend a huge german assault, but what I can't handle is waiting for 30 minutes just to defend against 3 infantrymen, a tank, and a zillion airplanes. Thats just boring. There is never huge infantry battleslike promised everyone just hops in a tank or plane, thats fucking boring.

There are players left, not much from the early days. The game did not change over time, they changed direction without ever looking back period.

The current game mechanics would probably appeal to any sado-masochist, as the static spawn system.

There are rarely infantry battles as the armor supply is always available. There is no fear of death in this game you can just spawn a new tank anytime

I suggest you join a squad and do varies types of missions and branches of the army. Flying might get boring to some, so why not try dive bombing or do factory bombing runs in formation with other people.

A common misconception of this game, is "oh these graphics aren't good enough." Take a leap of faith, get a free trial, find a squad to join, and grow with the game. This game is sincerely, phenominal and you won't regret it. The producer of this video is correct in saying, you MUST be patient. Teamspeak 2 is the main VOIP platform and if you ask around you'll get the IP. Once you understand the basics, and you get some kills, you'll be hooked =)!

Yeah xoomxoom except that nobody play's this anymore, there used to be hundreds on teamspeak , now it's a dozen. that's what happens when people start switching sides, you end up having all pilots playing allies easy mode planes, while grunts play the german heer and steamrolls you since 2001.

I would not recommend this to anyone, as it's clearly outdated and after 2005 the game because a casual hand holding mainstream game. Everyone from the early days left, powertripping hc stayed
