I used to work for go! and yes that was a mistake...but uh...I feel sorry for these people rallying. If they never flew on go or even ever planning to, then why the rally...just because of the media portraying them as sneaky, money face, sucking the business out of other airlines. They should have given the airline three tries and if it still sucked then fuck rally man rally your mouth off. These is why customer service is the hardest profession dealing with unsatisfied customers everyday.
Go! broke the law by unlawfully using both Aloha and Hawaiian's confidential information to enter the market. Unfortunately, go!'s parent was practically broke and Aloha's law suit was thereby futile.
Also, even though go!'s break even point was $17 a ticket higher than Aloha's, go! sold tickets well below Aloha's breakeven point in order to bleed cash. Since evidence indicates that go! planned to raise prices after Aloha disappeard, this is a clear case of predatory pricing.
Can someone explain to me what they are currently doing that is illegal? They paid their settlement fees for their early mistakes but how is having low prices illegal?
I am sorry but as much as I might not like Mesa myself, there is nothing illegal about there being competition. If you are going to blame Mesa than you could say the same for Southwest when it started, how the legacy airlines took a hit because they were unable to do something cheaper. It sucks but it's reality. It's called Airline deragulation, competition, plain old business sense. Don't blame the airline blame the customers. Hawaii isn't it's own country so stop thinking that you are.

Sad to say but as a Mesa Flight Attendant we are even battling to get good benefits and im striving to get into a better airline. I do believe this is one huge mess. Its none of the employees fault cuz we really try to make the company but our effort can only go so far.

Don't know from personal experience but I have heard that Ornstein is quite possibly the worst human being on earth.
Two people I've talked to who worked at Mesa say if he was given a country to run, he'd make Stalin look like a petty thug.
