  • once i had an conversation with a guy about green day he meant he were a big green day fan so i asked him which album he likes most he answered I ONLY KNOW AMERICAN IDIOT wtf they did other stuff too? me ...'-_-' seriously???? yah man and BAM INTO DA facccccccceeee FUCKING POSER

  • One of my favorite all time songs...

  • yooo happpy bday billie joe ur the bestttt i loveee yahh bruh bruh ahahaha

  • I really hate how American Idiot made them extremely popular. It was so weak. Their earlier stuff was infinitly better.

  • @DocSandwiches Dookie made them really popular. American Idiot just made them popular again.

  • @ImposterM Good point. But I still believe American Idiot made them more popular than Dookie ever did. Which is a tragedy, hate that album.

  • a am only 10 and i lisin to green day

  • @first7475 Really? because you're grammar says you're retarded.

  • @TheKillaHorse It's a little funny that you're making fun of his grammar while making a grammar mistake (you're instead of your).

  • @JorickF lol that's actually my most hated grammar mistake. oh the irony

  • Incredible song!!!

  • Elsker sangen! :d

  • The intro sounds like ... I should have known better by the beatles! haha :p Oh my Fuckin lord I Love GREEN DAY ! :))

  • at 1:04 he says. "A cry of hope" and then somebody yells "OH!"

    Is it just me?

  • @zenyray no no i heard it too :)

  • @zenyray It yells "OH!" in the background

  • songs i mean srry

  • i'm fortuate to have a 16 year old sis the introduced me to green day song

  • i love this song i know most of there songs i'm there biggest fan its so fucking hard to not love this band i love them......!?!?!? :)

  • I was fortunate enought to grow up with a big brother who introduced me to a lot of great bands. I was just a little girl when I first heard Green Day with him, and I loved them right then... So many years later, I still love them just as much, because the thing about true love is that it lasts forever... Green Day are the Best!!!!! One of my favorite bands all my life!!!

  • This song is pure ORGASM! ) I love you Green Day! :)

  • Reminds me a lot of I Should've Known Better :)

  • Green Day are punk. Punk means not giving a shit, and that's exactly what Green Day is. They write what music they want. And I love it, and am proud to call myself a Green Day fan.

  • green day steal this song from the beatles ¬¬

  • @EpicVideoHD don't say bull**it

  • i don't give a shit if this ain't punk, it's still awesome.

  • The intro is very similar to I Should Have Known Better - The Beatles.

    Beatles Forever<3

  • @ValeMarcolli31 I actually think this song sounds more like "Death or Glory" by The Clash. Punk forever <3

  • @ValeMarcolli31 I just noticed that. Lol.

  • @ValeMarcolli31 The beatles suck.

  • I fucking love this song! I fucking love GREEN DAY <3<3

  • The intro sounds A LOT like I Should Have Known Better by The Beatles. A LOT. Almost a rip off...

  • @NerdsOuttaControl yeah it does a bit...

  • @NerdsOuttaControl I know, right? Total Beatles influence.

  • @NerdsOuttaControl Yeah, i noticed that too, but it doesn't surprise me, BJ is a big beatle fan and you can hear other beatle things in the album warning (also in 21st century breakdown)

  • @NerdsOuttaControl tribute. not rip off.

  • @NerdsOuttaControl i wouldnt consider it a rip-off, i would consider it a tribute.

  • @NerdsOuttaControl Diatonic harmonicas only really come in 3 keys; C G & D major. And since Green Day only played 3 different chords on the harmonica it's bound to sound like some other song out there.

  • this should have more views than american idiot and when september ends..

  • @lmfaoatthat I agree

  • i love you green day

  • @nickcliche yeah, the intro is similar. But there's different rhythms and the whole song is different apart from the intro (and harmonica parts but that's just cause Billie joes isn't that great a harmonica player and that's the easiest riff to play)

  • @nickcliche Are you one of those people who think that anything that sounds remotely like something else is a copy even when it's got totally different lyrics, a different key, and a different melody? I thought so. I'm a huge Beatles fanatic-if they had plagiarized, then I'd agree, but this has a totally different melody than that song.

  • i've been listening to Green Day for the last 8 years and I just can't stop listening to them, it's something unbelievable, the 90% of the songs i listen to is Green Day's D: i freaking love these guys

  • @Brigister exactly. i don't understand why more people don't like them...but I know everyone has their opinions. some just want to be different...others think green day is too obnoxious/disrespectful/whatever. Bottom line is I have the same syndrome you have. I am addicted to green day, I can listen to their songs every single day for hours at a time. it really is unbelieveable. they are very talented, just glad im alive to hear and see their performances

  • @tjg119 you got the point ;) it's like, i don't know, I could never get sick of them because they have a song for every occasion/mood, they know how I feel so they take it and they put it in a kickass song, i mean they know how I feel better than I do

  • 2 people cant hold on

  • thumbs up if your listening to this in 2012

  • iv heard this befor i dont know where

  • @DoomAgeding you probably heard it on the radio.

  • @DoomAgeding yeah it's called "I Should Have Known Better" by the Beatles..

  • favorite album <3

  • come on guys one more liken on this clip and its 100 to 1

  • Harmonica! <3

  • =3

  • daaammmnnn...GREEN DAY! leave me alone!!!! ur making me insane!! damn ur songs are awesome!!

  • Is it me or does the harmonica remind anybody else of The Beatles "I Should Have Known Better." I know they're different but i just feel there's a small similarity in the harmonica.

  • @drsguitar it's not you . it does sound like it!

  • sounds beatleish

  • Awesome song

  • greenday before they went "Emo" as all the kids know them as! Old greenday stuff is a lot better :D but I loved this album as it was more acoustic it pretty cool for it!

  • @deadstarlights well im 12 but i like old greenday more to but that was their master plan see. they made 21 century breakdown so younger generations would know about them and then their new cd/alblum is kinda like their old stuff its just so kids can get to know the good old greenday but i was a fan every sence i was born always loved greenday :D

  • @deadstarlights I totally agree. But I dont Belive Green Day is "Emo". Green Day may sound different from before but they have gotten more Mature and it would be boring if they stayed the same. Every band has to change. I think Green Day no matter how they sound i mean they could write a song on how stupid i am and i would still love em. :)

  • @deadstarlights well remember 3 things. 1. its Green Day not greenday 2. not all the kids know them from American Idiot or 21st Century Breakdown and 3 they are not "emo" they change styles and they can if the want to! When I first started listening to Green Day it was 21st Century Breakdown, but I looked them up and listened to their other albums! I still love them no matter what! Yeah I'm only 13 and "too young" to appreciate their older albums but I still listen to them and love them

  • @BrittanyMorganVargas yeah, you're right man! I started listening them as 9years kid when AI came out. I was amazed by them.. they mean so much to me.. first thing i did after listening AI was searching older albums, info and videos.. I love Dookie so much, the album is like anthem for me.. eh.. why i am saying this.. just go your own way man! ;) fuck the haters and go straight in your own way :)

  • @PanochJ Ahaha its nice to know that someone understands!! I was like 6 when American Idiot came out so I didn't really understand music and the meaning to them but I was 11 so I understood more when 21st Century Breakdown came out

  • iiiii should have known better with a girl... oh sorry

  • Probably one of their best songs, in my opinion.

  • love the guitar solo

  • What a song!

  • I Should had know better

  • @nachosk898 YEP!

  • yeah warning was a failure, but thats a good thing :)

  • This song makes me feel better, after having a shitty day :)

  • I dunno if it's just me but..does the Harmonica sound like the one on "I Should've Known Better" by The Beatles?

    Both good songs though!

  • @mcrkidx6x6x6 Not only the harmonica, the guitar chords and bass are very similar. I like both bands and both songs.

  • I love the vocal melodies of the album Warning.

  • true - WARNING: HIGHLY ADDICTIVE
