That knot is called a 'clinched knot' you can also add a second step to make it sturdier then it will be called a 'improved clinched knot' you can google/youtube search it to see video & instructions.

Anyhow, nice knot, never did see that one before.

Btw, may I suggest you go to a site called "dealextreme" and search for "gorillapod", you get a cheap flexible tripod for your camera just as good as the expensive as hell "real" gorillapod tripod, can be wrapped around branches and what not.

Btw, this setup is perfect for "sneak fishing" without a fishing card ^^

When bringing in the fish always wrap the line around the tube, because if that fish takes off the line with cut your hand up like it was going through butter.
