Even though I wasn't able to pen the song that was sampled, I pretty much knew that the background music was sampled. It is an old school beat that has been used by a number of artists. However, a lot of these artist have sampled music -- and the funny part is that my ears pick it up but I can never recollect the first song that I heard it from. Then it becomes hard for me to listen to the song because I can I am trying to figure out the original song that I heard it from.

Actually Kells was trying to get it about six years before that. She said that she knew first met him in 91. But he basically dropped her cause she wouldn't skrew him. Then he got her cousin. Who she introduced to him in hopes of getting her signed.

Yep her an her cousin met him then an started to do back up singing. The Aaliyah came to Kells in 93 an started to work on her first album which Sparkle did a lot of back up singing on. After that skip five years to 98 an her debut hit. Sparkle stayed dormant writing and doing back up.
