This is a well-known product. I can't believe people are still questioning it. The only possible problem this could have is whether it fits or not. It has a very, very slight annoying orange peel texture to it. Basically, pick up an orange, you feel those little tiny bumps? That's basically how it feels, just a little smoother of course. It protects your phone just fine. I had this skin. It fell off at around 6 months. Then I switched to BodyGuardz. Fell off at 6 months. No orange bumps though.
FUCK I thought it meant the screen itself was unscratchable. Haha I took a fuckin knife and made a huge ass scratch on the invisishield. I was so pissed.
Man this is just what I was looking for, those handy times when I'm trying to pick up women by showing them that my phone is resistant to power tools.
I carry a Black and Decker when I go to bars nowadays.
@mkfrance1 Afraid not scratch proof enough, i have a couple of small scratches on mine, really pisses me off, not really a way to get rid of them either, also the front of the hero scratches too :-( Still a great phone tho an miles better than an iphone.
The shield does what it's advertised to do which is protect the screen. In the ZAGG online FAQ however, they claim it doesn't hinder the touch screen performance.
It does affect the sensitivity of the touchscreen to a point where I may remove the screen protector altogether and hope for the best.
This shit is FAKE, that thing just rubs the plastic and make it fucked up. It's that same thing those girls be using on their toes and shit, so it doesnt actually scratch the screen since it's actually scratching the plastic part... fake shit.
Got this on my HTC Hero (European version) a few weeks ago. Very nice, was a pain in the ass to successfully install it with the sponge install (took me about 1.5 hour) but once it's installed, it's lovely (got a full body kit)
this thing actually works. I have one on my palm pre and i scratch it with keys and pens and they don't leave a mark. good investment, cant tell you how many times its saved my screen
So you're calling me retarded? Fuckface! I've got a Hero myself, and it doesn't get scratched. Get yourself a better version of the Hero, or maybe you should stop using powertools on your phone.
OK, all of you well argumenting numb-brains, maybe you should get yourselves a proper phone with glass screen. Maybe something like the GSM Hero. *loooool*
If you bought the one in the video, and you need screenprotection, YOU are the ones being fucked :o)))))
Err... a stupid test. That shows a plastic shield being scratched, not the Hero screen which is glass and therefore won't be scratched easily. You need diamond to scratch glass, so if the above drill isn't diamond tipped it would do nothing to the Hero screen. Dropping the phone might cause the screen to smash or crack, but that's another issue and not something that a shield would protect against either.
You failed before you even made it to the second word. If you need English lessons, you can just ask me. There's no need to project your grammatical insecurities onto others.
i think that's not htc legend

@LOLimtheman I've seen the orange peel on the zag and I'm not a fan. I wonder why it doesn't look like it in that video.

Body Guardz is 10X's better. It covers more, it comes with 2, AND Covers more than ZAGG. AND doesnt have an orange peel effect.

Not sure how you came up with that, but I do agree that the glass will be fairly scratch resistant.
btw1217 2 years ago
By knowing things is how I came up with that.
feckingbillgates 2 years ago
Well, if you think only a diamond can scratch glass, you may want to consider knowing more things.

Mabey you should learn to speak English before trolling people for a pretty common misconception.
P.S: This dude is from the US so not much excuse for him talking like an eastern europian fresh off the boat.
