I was lucky to hear this song sung by the Ahka while I was traveling in northern Thailand. It was 5+ years ago, but this song is still stuck in my head. Really catchy =)
as my great grandfather journey from the lush rice land at the base of the yellow river in china to the cold moutain of laos-my father crossing the mekong to the hills of thailand and as i flew over the pacific ocean to the cenral plains of the united states...i've never cross path with such beautiful people as these.
