Ahhh...she is absolutely fantastic. Ms. Horne just finished doing a week of workshops at my university. It was amazing to see how much she could accomplish with our juniors and seniors! She is easily one of the greatest opera stars ever!

I just had a voice lesson with her last tuesday. I got to meet her and talk to her and it was amazing everything she got out of me...and now, after looking her up on utube and realizing who it really was I had a lesson with, I don't think I deserve to have even been in her presence!

I met her at Oberlin College, and after hearing who I studied with and where I was planning on going to college, she agreed to have a lesson with me. Apparently that's astounding because people say she doesn't take random people like that...it truly was an amazing experience!

The first time I ever saw this one, around 1994 or so. I thought What the HECK are they thinking??? Why not just put on the original? Is it because there's an obviously outdated looking Oscar in the background? It was at that point that I realized Sesame Street would never be the same again :(
