Yes, she was. In fact, this video came out on my 6th birthday (September 20, 1996). I'm 19 now, and I'll be 20 this year. Too bad she's not with us because the pilot was drunk while flying her to America back from the Bahamas.

@81Skippy - Aaliyah didn't have tons of work done. She's looked the same through out her entire career. It's really obvious. Literally, you can just tell. The only difference is the amount of eyeliner, lipliner/lipstick she was wearing. Aaliyah's one of the few black women to not have any work done to her face.
