@Netfundu Well, because to me it doesn't make much sense not to use the installer. There would be quite a few extra steps to doing it manually. I've done it once and learned how much I appreciate the auto-installer.
I've put my website back online and that file is online now. As a matter of fact, it's easy to find, just go to the Downloads section, which you can access via the menu.
I'm assuming you're using the Window's installer, php-5.2.8-win32-installer.msi ? You should see this list, although you CAN add PHP to Apache with a few configuration changes to your Apache settings.
I recommend doing this installation with XAMPP though, just because it's MUCH easier than trying to install this manually.
i dont have that big list where you select the web server you want to setup (0:46 in the vid); i got only 3 options: otherCGI, fastCGI and 'dont setup a web server', what do i pick, or what to do? i did install apache 2.2.x and i did go to its directory...
I do not have an Apache file in C: why is that?=0
