A bit slow paced but for good reason. The story is pretty simple (tension between rival families). So Shotgun Stories takes time to build the characters in order for us to care about them. The title of the film is VERY MISLEADING; don't expect much action. This is a drama about 3 brothers dealing with a turning point in their lives.

the budget. Real films affect us, great ones
do it on many levels.
