Oh my God, this was annoying! I came here to watch this cause Wikipedia referred to it in its article about Sabrina the teenage witch, the nineties series.
I think Miss Grundy got confused between a caterpillar and a centipede!! And she calls herself a teacher? Pfft...
Legal Disclaimer: I'd like to point out that the above sentence is a joke, it is used for humour, not factual information. I would further like to point out the consideration that I do know centipede do not have 100 legs. It is a common myth that has been twisted for said humour mentioned before!
Yeah, that's right - Start deleting that comment you were just writing! :P
I have an old video with all these episodes on... Loved these cartoons! Dunno where it came from though... I was born in '85, so this wasn't my era, but loved it all the same!!!
Originally, they did. The versions that have made it to home video are taken from the film prints before the laugh track was added (for whatever reason... probably the only prints that have survived over time.)
That "horrible live action" is the original series. It came out 1996 while this animation came out 3 years later in 1999. Maybe you should get your facts before you post comments like these.
For this 1969/1970 version of Sabrina, the voice is provided by Jane Webb, who also provided the voices of Betty & Veronica, and most of the other females in the series.
I've always thought Sabrina was the prettiest of the 'Archie Girls' and the only one that was drawn differently. Her eyes (Shape and Lashes)and face shape, freckles and body style are all quite different from the other girls. I also thought she had an unusual hairdo and hair color (White-Blond)
I own the recently released "SABRINA-The Animated Series" and although it says 'The Complete Series' and lists 31 episodes I've seen three episodes on you tube that are NOT in the set and can clearly remember at least three more -One where Sabrina is sent to live with 'Aunt Nagitha' because Head Witch Della thinks Aunt Zelda is 'Too Soft' and there is a sequence in the credits with Hot Dog Jr. and Chili Dog with a 'Magic Bone' from an episode. Episodes with Aunt Zelda & Ghoolies are also Missing
Check your collection again. Each episode has two skits, so that makes 62 skits. The ones you mention are in there, they are usually the second skit of the episode.
this was awesome!!thank you very much!i remember this from reading the archie comic series in the 90's. my mom as well watched this show when she was 9
this was actually done by Filmation, maybe if BCI would release Sabrina on DVD, afterall they have released alot of Filmation's stuff, Isis, Hero High, He-Man,She-Ra,the Dc Superheroes, Superman & Batman
Wow! You never knew? Serous essential 70's cartoon classic from the Archie Family.
Well, it was a very short series so it may have not been easily syndicated on it's own but linked up as a full archie Hour by a independant channel somewhere (maybe mine KBHK in San Francisco in the early 80's is when I used to see the very few of these that would come up.) This was a rare series until now I hear they have been released on DVD.
Fine to watch because of all the new stories and how they made hilda and zelda into hot teens but even all the episodes of the new dic series can't match this one ever.
Wow this rocks. After all these years, it's like Sabrina hasn't aged a day. She was such a babe then and if I were into younger women she still would be. It sure beats the hell out of modern live action variations.
I love this Sabrina the Teenage Witch! To me, she is the ONLY Sabrina.
You wouldn't happen to have an episode where Sabrina's evil, dark-haired, semi-lookalike cousin (I think her name is Tamina or something like that) shows up and causes trouble in Riverdale, would you? I would love to see that episode if you have it.
I'm definitely much more interested in the 70's Sabrina cartoons myself, and I distinctly remember seeing the episode that I described above in the 70's, when I was a kid (Sabrina's cousin led her on a high-speed broom chase, disrupted things at the Choklit Shop, and kidnapped Reggie, among other things). Anyway, if you do happen to find it, please do share with us; thanks!
yeah it would be cool. I wish there were more episodes of that show. it was awesome. I got it!!! why don't you make a petititon to help bring back archies weird mysteries ?? i know who owns the rights to the cartoon and its DIC
Actually, Sabrina is owned by Archie Comics Group and in the case of the cartooon, it is owned by Entertainment Rights (UK) and distributed by Genius Entertainment.
It is likely Possible. If they even added her in the show things would be more of a Mystery. But remember there was also a Sabrina the animated series so they could ve done that sarbrina but made her into 17 year old.
hmm thats very possible lol, ive seen archies weird mysteries come on actually not too long ago on FOX, it was like a month ago, and it comes on rly early
@emmanoelle Yeah, it's rather creepy when the live action, Friday night one that follows her through high school to college is more wholesome than the Saturday morning cartoon.
These were episodes I recorded from an old tape that I had. I was able to convert it to digital from analog because of the new DVR camera I bought! Stay tuned for more... ;o)
