  • What is Bipolar Disorder ? , and who is actually sane in this world ? .

  • I described my psycho-mania to my psych in part as like being consciously aware of the collective unconscious

  • Ted Turner & Catherine Zeta-Jones were left out

  • Ppl tell me all the time that bipolars are screwed ... how this ppl got around? I want to know cause I am bipolar and I do have great ideas and lot talent.

And refuse to give up on myself.

  • Is it just me, or do the people who condemn medication/diagnosis of bipolar seem far more mentally unstable than those who admit they have a problem?

  • You have to make some money if you're Bipolar, or come from money, or you're screwed, man, you're really screwed if you fall through the cracks is all I'm saying.

    Find some money.

  • you forgot Robin Williams the actor! he said that some of his most creative moments came from his mania!

  • “Men have called me mad; but the question is not yet settled, whether madness is or is not the loftiest intelligence– whether much that is glorious– whether all that is profound– does not spring from disease of thought– from moods of mind exalted at the expense of the general intellect.”

― Edgar Allan Poe, Complete Tales and Poems

  • Yeah... I write, sing, play, debate, fuck, etc better when manic. But I won't stop taking meds (until next time I go off taking meds). Last time I was hospitalized I had to be tazed by police while I was blocking traffic completely nude screaming that I had tuned my mind into the earths vibrations.

  • You left out Justin Furstenfeld of the band Blue October. :(

  • @mumenschantz Simple. I'm going through a hypomaniac episode.

  • Come and talk to us other sufferers on Mapofmates!

  • Bi-polar is a journey not like any other. We struggle with lifes situations and our own mental illness the two do not mix well. We do have a choice in how our bi-polar effects us. I chose to learn with any means available. Ingnorance is not our friend. Knowledge and empathy or our best defense. CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE, CHANGE YOU BEHAVIOR, CHANGE YOUR MIND, CHANGE YOUR LIFE my motto.

  • . Bipolar people need drugs to control their impulses - most iof them to hurt themselves in many different ways. they are not the anti-christ, there is a genetic predisposition to be bipolar. Yes, there is a problem of chemical inbalance that needs to be solved by drugs - it's not a conspiracy made by pharmacists. And constant therapy for all life. Drugs+therapy can make a bipolar live good life. take one of these away, they can be instable. Do you think it's fashionable?

  • @TheTplis thats the "western fix you" side of it. in eastern and many ancient tribal communities this is considered a spiritual awakening. the reason people are are meds like i was in the past is because they can't control the behavior themselves. anyone with enough strength, awareness, understanding, and the most patience can learn to make this a beautiful strength instead of an illness. Bipolar is stunted with drugs. the person is never able to go through the awakening after mania

  • @lamrimeater anyone has it's right to an opinion. If you believe that bipolar is a blessing, there is nothing I can say about it. For me it's some kind of torture. I have learned to understand when I am going to mania and to depression, before it turns into some crisis. I never ever want to have another mania eposide, I have suffered too much because of it and believe me never found any awakening because of it. Only regrets.

  • @TheTplis Bipolar people have an untapped potential that "normals" dont have. some research has shown that these people have a different level of awareness than others. i was tormented with this as a child, but i was always heavily medicated. i am no longer heavily medicated im on the lowest weakest forms of meds that are used to treat mild depression and anxiety, not b/c of western science but b/c of my own awareness and ability to control myself. it wasnt until i took control back

  • @lamrimeater i was able to see it for what it really is. an awakening happened and i have more insight, more compassion, and more resilience than normal people. we feel in a deeper way. Bipolar at its worse is something that a person hasnt yet learned to manage. a seed covered with dirt until it bursts through the soil and grows into the most magnificent tree. ever wondered why all the folks who are bipolar have special talents and skills? discover bipolar and why its a blessing

  • @lamrimeater I understand that medication makes some of our abilities away. I am just not willing to take the risk because I have already taken too much when not medicated. Only when you know a person's background of suffering, of risk-taken, you can judge if the path she chose is the right for her.

  • @mumenschantz it's not cool to be bipolar, it means you have to be in control of your feelings every single day. Those who think it's an easy task are completely wrong. you cannot see yourself as anyone elese sees you, if you are overreacting to something or if you are at the very beggining of a depression. That's very hard to do. What's cool in that? And we have to do that just to be able to live a normal life. I read some very stupid comments here.

  • @mumenschantz probably because of the history of their behaviour that could be read in bios.

  • Hey my fellow Bipo's. I love you all and thanks for using your whole brain ;) If you are struggling, know that I am here for you. Unite.

  • IT'S IN THE EYEBROWS xD

  • the eyebrows

  • I don't suffer from Bipolar disorder, I enjoy it!

  • Depression medications act as economic stimulants on the global level. They keep the people moving and in many cases speed up the production of workers while trapping their minds from harvesting free will.

  • bipolar is evil

  • @xjoe1988x True. I must be the Anti-Christ.

  • Have you ever seen the criteria for bipolar disorder? Everyone on the planet has it.

  • @Takuchan13 that'a absolutely not true. if you say that, that's because you are not bipolar. You have no idea what bipolar ppl go through their lives just to stay "normal". If find your comment offensive and ignorant.

  • AlwaysinTrancee> BP is just a specification of the DSM IV diagnostic criteria. We arent born with more abilities, We have to earn them and a darn lot harder then other "normal people". We could all have 100-2000 different actual chemical imbalances going on in our brains but still be dubbed "bipolar" by the DSM IV. BP people, take his message with the understanding you must EARN the abilities that BP can give you and learn to live with the disabilities.

  • Don't you see? Drugs are just a counterfeit of the Holy Spirit...and by taking drugs, you are not keeping your body clean, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

  • what's been happening around the world is forced compliance with highly addictive chemicals, intended to alter a human being's state of mind into a servile consumer.

  • Medication is not natural by any means, and highly debilitating to the spirit and soul. What's been happening all around the world is forced

  • @dionysus2308 Well all anger aside, not to offend anyone, all of you are in charge of your lives. Not a pill, not a doctor, not your immediates. Everyone needs to know the truth and that truth is, everyone is being tricked by the pharmeciutical and healthcare corporations..and evidence is starting to show it has been going on for much too long.

  • @bslayer1988 you're a fool

  • alwaysintrancee you're a dumbass, bipolar is different for everyone. Not everyone can manage the same.

  • Thank you so much for making this video and sharing it.

  • Insidegame33 I hope u know that u sound like a paranoid loser

  • First off there is a such thing having a mental illness wether it be bi polar or schitzophrenia or OCD whatever it is millions have and u better fuckin start getting used to having people like us around and also were not scary we live our lives the same way u do the only difference is we take medicine every day and were probably the most creative people in the world as evidence of this video

  • There is absoulutely no fucking way Alexander Hamilton, John Keats, Isaac Newton, Florence Nightingale, Robert Schumann, nor van Gogh had Bipolar Disorder on account of there was no proof and still is NO proof today. This video is sheer marketing and propaganda. You're all stupid for actually believing this video. Psychiatry, in its entirety, is a highly funded political operation to ensure a govermentally regulated, unvarying economy. Now go crawl on your wheels, gerbils. Peace.

  • @insidegame33 You sound like you might have a really interesting point of view that could potentially be well received and might be good to read but you write it with so much hate I can't pay attention to what you're trying to say, all I see is negativity. You seemed frustrated and pissed off. It's fine to disagree but don't let it get you so angry. Lol, and then you say "Peace" at the end which was the kicker for me. I don't think you intended that as a joke.

  • @insidegame33 a catscan would disagree with you.

  • This 'disease' doesn't exist. It exists soley because an educated being can condition another to the point of accepting and believing that one has this disorder. Parents are controlled and exploited by the educational/governmental systems with their riduculous criteria for what is acceptable behavior. Bureaucratic education is meant to brainwash and control people from a very young age. Not everyone's meant to do the things everyone else does and they label these people for money.

  • Okay, that music track could really make ANYONE depressed. Just sayin'...I'm sure you meant well. I'd rather the images be played to the sound of a madcap Benny Hill routine!

  • max bemis XD!

  • From ze heavydence present, is clear bipolar attaks mostly speakers of inglish und german. I am lucki zat I speak burmanish.

  • I hate being bipolar. its fucking awsome!

  • great respect if u are rich and famous, but if someone like me whose not famous not many people want u in this world

  • i have bipolar disorder. i was diagnosed with it at age 15. i mostly self medicate, which i'm not exactly thrilled about. i just got to where i couldn't take all that shit they were giving me. i'd rather be bipolar and be able to do my writing etc. and not be bipolar anyways with also feeling lethargic or even apathetic at the same time. but this is my own experience.

  • I want to live in a world where I can walk up to anyone and say "I'm bipolar" and they just yawn out of boredom. Until that day, I will keep saying it and keep risking rejection and alienation. I see it as my personal responsibility to demystify the disorder. One day, if bipolar people everywhere, keep putting themselves on the line like that, society will come to understand it and accept us without fear

  • part 2... made me a much more interesting person. Its something that makes me feel a bit more unique than the average person and its also afforded me the ability to develop an impressive level of empathy not only for others with the disorder but for so many different people of many different walks of life. I'm a proud bipolar woman because I see that in being "cursed", I was soooo very blessed. I believe that its essential to stick together as bipolar men and women to eradicate the stigma.

  • @MansonMel3980 Amen Sister! I wish I could always be as strong as you, but I aspire to be where you are....and I totally agree with your sentiments. Thank you for stating what needs to be said so eloquently. s

  • @ANarrowBridge *hug* You'll get there. It took me years so I know how you feel. But you're amazing or there is no way you could've survived this long.

  • I personally am proud...not of the disorder lol cause thats like saying I'm proud of having diabetes lol, and afterall, why should I be proud of something that I never even had the choice to have. Rather, I'm proud because while having BPD often made me feel like I was cursed, it also led me to cultivate my creative talents and even more importantly, caused me to build great strength of character due to all of the adversity that I had to face at such a young age. I think having BPD has...

  • Mark Vonnegut said that bipolar people are good at singing, dancing, writing, etc because if we weren't, then nobody would want to mate with us and us crazy people would all die out haha. Its not very politically correct but it IS funny.

  • to make a video like this, although helpful, highlights the ignorance to the the sickness. How many people have it? And you pick these people!

  • Man! well that's it then. We're all Nuts.

  • A lot of extrovert perceivers in there

  • sexual frustration

  • i am happy to see that good people can have it! i would like to show this to the people that make in fun of ppl with bipolar saying its only what crazy ppl get!

  • IDIOTS STOP CRYING BECAUSE OF HAVING BIPOLAR,PROUD TO BE BIPOLAR BECAUSE WE ARE MUCH SMARTER AND CREATIVE THAN AVERAGE PEOPLE.JUST DONT GO IN DEPRESSION NOT TO DIE.

  • @AlwaysinTranceeI'm also proud to be bipolar cause it's helpin me in my life but sometimes it put me in difficult situation.it's something stronger than me,between depression and euphoria i feel like i'm divided into 2 person,i like somethin then i change totaly my opinion and attitude about it.since 2 days i change 100 times my attitude in a day and it's making me really crazy.bipolar desorder helped me too much and i'm very creative however, sometimes,i dont really understand who the f**k i am.

  • @AlwaysinTrancee R U crazy man, what about manic UR not gonna die, LOL, I've crashed crotch rockets in shorts and a T shirt doin 197km/hr while manic, don't kid UR self up or down it's all trouble.

  • @AlwaysinTrancee There are so many parts of your comment that are extremely insulting. I don't even know where to start.

  • @electrogeek77 I didnt mean to insult. If you read it again u will see what i meant mate.

  • @AlwaysinTrancee who is proud to be bipolar? all we want is the exact opposite. Not being it. Videos like this makes us realize that we can have a good and productive life, not to make people like you think that we are proud of our problem. We already carry a stigma an now you are making one more.

  • @AlwaysinTrancee

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL JUST DONT GO IN DEPRESSION LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • @AlwaysinTrancee This is such a bipolar comment.... and I love it!!!

  • @AlwaysinTrancee Manic much?

  • ALL YOU GUYS SHOULD COME AND JOIN US OTHER BIPOLAR FELLOWS AT MAPOFMATES. COM!

  • @misscoveryyy what is that site? Whats it about?

  • I'm a christian living with bipolar 2. I don't believe it's satanic. Nobody in the world is in perfect health. There were only two people who had perfect health and that was Adam and Eve, then they sinned and the world has been fucked ever since. I will be healed one day when I am in heaven but for now the medication is fine, I function as normal if there is such a thing. If you feel suicidal, go and see your doctor because you have mental illness and it needs to be treated accordingly, MEDICINE

  • worst possible thing to have lol

  • @Sunnyrach No its not LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! Tourrettes is worse for example.

  • I think this video was well thought out. I did notice that Ted Turner was not added. Turner admitted publicly to having Bipolar. He said it probably helped him a great deal to create his empire at such a "rapid" pace.

There are many succesful people in this video--Cobain, Virginia Woolf and Van Gogh that commited suicide. They could not overcome...

  • i hate having bipolar, but I hate the prejudice of peole even more. Some of the comments on this page astound me! I have Bipollar 2 (with rapid cycling) I take lithium (praidel) and amitrypltiline. sometimes diazapam. But I am a single parent with 2 kids who are great and hoping to go back to study in autumn 2012. We can take control of our own lives, we are not scary in the whole and I object to being called that. for all of you out there with this thing, have a safe one.

  • there's a lot of pussies making excuses in these comments, I have it.. so what? People are being drama queens suck it up fuck...

  • Bipolar people are scary as fuck. They can just snap.

  • @melo15813 How many bipolar people do you actually know and have observed on an ongoing basis? There is no reason to fear people with bipolar disorder. The truth is, there are a great deal more people that weren't bipolar that have "snapped" and done scary things than people that actually carry the diagnosis. Think about it. Its very easy to look at the isolated, sensationalized, item on the news. Its more difficult to look at society at large and come to reasonable conclusions

  • I think it's great to see lots of great, successful, functioning people who are diagnosed with this illness. There is a great amount of stigma and I am very proud of anyone who has the courage to say, "Yes, I struggle with this illness everyday but it's like a 'mental cancer' and you have to keep going. You must educate the children so they don't feel the stigma."

  • @nothingisasexpected THANK YOU KIND SIR OR MADAM....I am currently writting a book called " BIPOLAR AND PROUD "

I want to take on the MSDS and stigma that kills Bipolar Bears.I want to educate people about the illness.Since my diagnosis I have lost many LONG time friends. As I told my docctor today.

My cousin was just diagnosed with Diabetes but he still has ALL his LONG time friends . WHY ????

Your kindness and words fill me with HOPE and INSPIRATION .

  • Jesus was bipolar

  • Devin Townsend is my personal favorite musician to put it lightly!

I had my first manic episode a few months ago. Best week of my life!

  • Bipolar disorder is one of the most beautiful curses that a person can have. :)

  • Strange, hardly a blonde in the lot.

  • catherine zeta-jones

  • I'm not bipolar, tho my wife of 8 yrs was, she wasn't diagnosed till after we broke up (& that did explain a lot of things), but going a bit crazy trying to think of the tv programme that has this music as it;'s theme. Can anyone remember???????

  • @MrSLR7 28 days later

  • High foreheads... high intelligence. All I am saying.

  • I have rapid cycling and everyday is a struggle. I never knew that I had bipolar until I had brain surgery to get rid of seizures that I had for 34 years. They masked the bipolar . I wish I had them back!! I HATE BEING BIPOLAR!!!!

  • I have manic bipolar disorder. it sucks, i swear it's a love hate realationship dealing with it. sucks i'm stuck with it for the rest of my life. i'm only 21

  • Everone struggeling from this should join forums or websites like mom (mapofmates). Friendship is really important when dealing with mental disorders :)

  • great video...what about brittney spears and katherine zeta jones

  • how come ppl with bipolar think ever1 is crazy but them yyyyyyyyy?

  • @seoulkidd1 You clearly have no fucking idea what bipolar is. Ignorant little cunt.

  • @MonsieurNonce lol im a cunt lol are we supper angry right now or really pissed lol

  • @seoulkidd1 Nice use of tautology there. Shame you have no fucking idea what tautology is.

  • @MonsieurNonce lol im a cunt

  • @MonsieurNonce did we take our seriquel this morning lol

  • @seoulkidd1 That's not funny at all. It's pretty ignorant of you to joke about powerful anti psychotic medications that are meant to help manage a significant disorder. You're not amusing anyone, you just sound like a prick.

  • @seoulkidd1 It's funny cause I don't even take medication. Or have full blown bipolar for that matter. I'm just educated. Oopsie daisy, sweetheart!

  • @MonsieurNonce I'm sorry....for mean people ...like you.

Healthy people lift others up and inspire others.

  • @RETIREMESOON I'm mean how? I was defending myself against a prick who was making fun of bipolar, I really don't see how that makes me 'mean'. Also, cut down on the ellipses.

  • @MonsieurNonce SOORY BUDDY,I'm having a hard time because... #1) I thought you were being mean about a horrific disease but I was WRONG and I appoligize. #2) I was just diagnosed with the disease and it has devistated my life and marriage. #3) I worked with disabled people for 26 years and I have seen suffering that would make your head spin and people that were VERY mean to these folks.

AGAIN I am so sorry and hope you can accept my grief about my mental status.

  • @RETIREMESOON No offence, but I didn't ask for your life story. Bye.

  • @MonsieurNonce Thank you I have studied psychology and I wanted to see how you would reply ? You are a very vindictive and mean individual with serious lack of empathy.....Get some help.

  • @RETIREMESOON there are a quite a few people with a lack of empathy that one who says "bipolar people are scary as f*ck. They can just snap" Just shows you how little way we have come in the fight against stigma in mental illness. and yes I too suffer from bipolar. Take it easy! Keep well

  • @seoulkidd1 I believe the medication you require is depakote or Lithium! Quitipine (seriquel) is an anti psychotic!

  • Some additional info re some of those listed: Nick Traina is the eldest son of Danielle Steel & Patrick Kennedy was in the US House of Representatives. Some other famous people with bipolar: Edward Lear; Ted Turner, entrepreneur and philanthropist; Courtney Love; Paula Fox, author & Courtney Love's biological mother; Patty Duke, actress; Victoria Maxwell, actress; Robert Schumann & Richard Wagner, composers; Friedrich Nietzsche, philosopher; Alexander the Great; Hitler, Stalin; Jeffrey Dahmer,

  • Tell me the name of the music please

  • You forgot Catherine Zeta Jones

  • my girlfriend is bipolar and its getting worse with age lol

  • @seoulkidd1 That is not funny at all. I hope your girlfriend see that comment and breaks up with you.

  • The ignorance displayed in these posts are alarming. Any competent neurologist, psychologist, psychiatrist can attest to the existence of bipoalr disorder, which is an organic disorder of the brain - just like diabetes is an organic disorder of the kedneys.

You ignoramuses are what has stigmatized the mentally ill throughout history. You were the ones who locked people in asylums or burned them at the stakes. You should hang your heads in shame but you are too stupid to do so.

  • I can use telepathy , I am maybe the only person that can use telepathy all the time , send

and receive voice and video on distance of few kilometer. It works all the time and 100% correct.

I think it is important for science and human kind to make research on my brain and find out how this works.

My telepathy manifest itself exact like "Schneider's first-rank symptoms".

  • Fine, you gave us a video for bipolar people. But what about people like me ... you got any videos for TRI-polar people? But, seriously, I don't buy the bipolar diagnosis. A so-called bipolar person is just a miserable unhappy person, period. When I'm feeling bipolar I know why. I don't look to blame it on brain chemistry. Psychiatrists feather their nests by keeping victims helpless so they are quick to invent a label. Bipolar=insurance payment. Sounds cynical but true.

  • @MrAnthonyVance I don't want to bother you since you're maybe on your way now to mock teenage girls with anorexia or possibly make fun of orphans because their parents left them, but this is a real thing. Your premise that it isn't brain chemistry, but these people are just miserable unhappy people suggest if they just changed their thinking, lifestyle or environment, then they would be free of it. I wish it was that easy. Please educate yourself before announcing to the world your ignorance.

  • @TruRules1 Thank you for reminding me that you are a non-thinker and believe everything you read and/or told. You abject moron. I don't need you to evaluate my critical thinking -- something you clearly lack. This may come as a shock to your child-like mentality but not all scientific communities buy into things like mental illness. Stop blaming "others" and "unproven theories" for your misery and realize that outlook and attitude and accountability matter. Advocate more drugs, idiot.

  • @MrAnthonyVance Let me just tell you that you have to be the most ignorant person I have ever heard in my life for I thing I am bipolar an have been for 20 years. So just to let you know I am not an unhappy person in fact I live a great life. I am happily married now for over 9 years I have a 5 year old and I have just return to college this past January were I am carrying a full class load and have a 4.0 GPA. I would not be able to have an of this with out medication and regular therapy.

  • @nwalters28 If you wish to believe that you are bipolar because someone or some set of test results have convinced you so then that is all that matters. The self-fulfilling prophecy comes in many forms, some obvious, some not so obvious -- tell yourself something long enough and you live by it and swear by it and "act" by it. Telling me that you are happy and smart in college does not sway me from point of view. I don't believe in medications or hypnosis and I have limited faith in psychiatry.

  • My name is Cathy. I AM a Christain. Jesus Christ is my Lord & Savior, Im also Bipolar, & a few other things. I ask all the Christians who are negativly commenting, if they know what the word stigma means. Would you say any of what your wrote to someone who had broken a leg, or cancer, or apendecitis, or lost a limb in the war. Mental IIlness is an Illness, NOT unforgiven sin, or demons or anthing else, It can be helped by medications for many people. It IS a bio chemical brain disorder

  • @cathyschaos1 If I'd believed the people who I went to help for 1st, the Christian church. I'd be dead. Im now psysically disabled too. So Im on computer a lot & am advocate for many things. So your saying my needing a scooter & a walker is real/physical, but my psychological problems are not. I live each and every day to the Glory of God. My "mission" is now on the internet. My relationship with God gets stronger each day. Would u go to any hospitals cancer ward & say that its bio/chemical too

  • @cathyschaos1 Hello Cathy...pleasure to meet you, Precious. I see your point, where you are coming from. We can't really compare that with a broken leg or any of that. Mind if I bring Scripture into this? Remember in scripture, when people were having seizures, when people were mute, or blind Jesus healed them of their sickness and disease which some were brought upon by sin and others by demonic OPPRESSION? Remember the little boy who had violent seizures and threw himself in the fire?

  • @cathyschaos1 this boy had what is called "epilepsy" today. here is what scripture says that Jesus did. "Then Jesus reprimanded the evil spirit and it went out of the boy, who was cured from that moment"- Matthew 17:14-21. This young boy was oppressed by an evil spirit. Oh, better yet, here is what the father of the boy said to Jesus ""Lord, do have pity on my son," he said, "for he is a LUNATIC and is in a terrible state. He is always falling into the fire or into the water."

  • @cathyschaos1 if people see a person do that today, they would probably get sent to a psych ward and be labeled "mentally ill" see, that's how our enemy works tho! Why fight him if you dnt believe there is a battle in the first place! There IS a battle and it is for your MIND! God said "I did not give you a SPIRIT of fear, but of love and of power and of a SOUND MIND." EVERYTHING has a spirit behind it! either it is motivates by the spirit of God or by satan.

  • @cathyschaos1 this is the thing with believers today...we are so BLIND to spiritual warfare which is why so many of us become punching bags to the enemy and are unable to live the life that God has called us to live. The enemy comes to STEAL, KILL and DESTROY. He could care less about anything better for him if we dnt believe we are at war and the war is for our mind! Whoever controls the mind, controls the whole person! There you go.

  • @cathyschaos1 I am NOT saying that those who suffer with depression, or Bipolar, or any of those "mental illnesses" are possessed, I'm saying they are OPPRESSED. Something is targeting at them, to bring about those EMOTIONS and THOUGHTS. Labeling them is like putting band-aid on a bullet wound, the real issue is not being dealt with. Let's just say it IS a chemical imbalance, it all goes back to the same point. We are a fallen people, stung my sin and in need of redemption. Much love!

  • @cathyschaos1 remember...these "illnesses" cannot be CURED, they can only be properly maintained..you can always relapse. Why? because you are truly free. That's because Jesus is the great Healer. I'm not those kind of people who believe satan is behind everything, no. But it took me a long time, after him torturing me so much for me to finally wake up and fight back. I didnt fight back because I didn't know there was anything to fight. Boy, Christ had to really wake me up to spiritual warfare.

  • @cathyschaos1 I meant to say *not truly free* *Why? Because you are not truly free* Much love Cathy, stay strong, and remember you are wonderfully and fearfully made, my love! *Hugs*

  • This is the creation of a group of people many of whom are not genuinely biploar but are in fact trying to save face as those who have been addicted. The production of mania by the meth-amphetamine abuse and in some cases by secret drinkers or coke heads as if they are bipolar is attacking those who are genuinely mentally ill. The reality of these worn out party people now wishing to attribute their drug soaked days to a mental disorder. Several others are victims of political oppression.

  • @AnneFox7 Political oppression by the use of the assignment of a mental disorder to those individuals with vision and ability beyond what their peers understand has been a method for the tyranny of the weak. The issue of the range of human expression dampened by the use of medicines to create mediocrity in those who are political dissidents has been exposed. Abuse exploitation and attack and the resulting trauma has often been a part of the lives of these people. MARKET MANIPULATION=BIG PHARMA

  • this makes me proud to be bi polar :D

  • @BenG729 Disorder? really? or is it just a failure to control oneself? Giving people an exscuse to act like arseholes? Do you really believe the only people who get depressed or manic or have mood swings need an ICD10 diagnosis? As for anti psychotic medication... since when did Dopamine have an influance on mood control???? the fucking pharmacutical companies invent the bloody "diagnosis" so they can sell you the "cure".

  • @fenthedog i actually agree with you

  • @fenthedog Wow you're ignorant. So you think that millions of people just fake it? They just want to act like an ass and get away with it so they purposely lose their jobs, all their money, and end up in psych wards??? That makes noooooo sense. There are easier ways to get away with being an asshole.

  • Respond to this video... That comment just about says it all! Its not my fault im an arse! its my DISORDER! yea right!

  • @ bitchingood its just existing nothing more......................there was a guy in my life who i used to dream had shot me for no reason, he said he would never hurt me , all we ever did was hurt each other with words..............i think i would have felt better if he had shot me

  • When growing up I thought that my creativity was just that. Just me being creative. Turns out it was mania fueling that creativeness. Course, you don't know that you might have Bi-Polar disorder at that time. So you struggle through it and try not to sucuumb. What stinks is that while it can be carefully managed, it will stick with you for the rest of your life.

  • @SMK5Q2 my love...there is a way to escape! There is a way out! :-) I struggled with these symptoms for years! and I'm free from them. Jesus Christ...is the way out. These things that we go through cannot be cured by medications, that is why Schizophrenia, BP, chronic depression and all CANNOT BE CURED because it is not a psychological nor a biochemical issue but a spiritual issue. Those thoughts are not your own, they come from the outside and demand your submission from within, there is hope

  • @Purity03 My name is Cathy. I AM a Christain. Jesus Christ is my Lord & Savior, Im also Bipolar, & a few other things. I ask all the Christians who are negativly commenting, if they know what stigma means. Would you say any of what your wrote to someone who had broken a leg, or cancer, or apendecitis, or lost a limb in the war. Mental IIlness is an Illness, NOT unforgiven sin, or demons or anthing else, It can be helped by medications for many people. It is a bio-chemical disorder. no more room

  • @hilannie62 pray about it even if you don't believe in God. You've tried everything else after all material things won't make us feel better.

  • all i know is that my life feels like a Salvador Dali painting.

I feel tired all the time, i have woken up screaming and i have dreams about people covered in blood and i cant save them .i take anti depressants that allow me to "function" through the day, i get up i go to work, i fill my day full to the brim with things to do and i tell everyone i am happy

Have seem a therapist and doctor who tell me to be more positive and take physical exercise

i really just dont know what to do anymore

  • @hilannie62 OMG I'm schizo affective and I keep hearing that! I can't afford a doctor but my family keeps telling me that. I'm so sorry you have those nightmares. I have them too and boy, they can be traumatizing. I have horrible and disturbing visions when I'm AWAKE though, and I can't turn them off. Your liking BP with a Dali painting is spot on. I feel like that too. You know the painting "The Scream"? That's how I feel as well. Do the anti-depressants make you feel like a zombie? I'm scared

  • @hilannie62 to take them. I feel what you feel, like you don't know what to do. We can talk, if you like...Maybe that will help us feel a bit better?

  • well, at least even the people who you'd imagine would never get laid? Think again. There are many people who are hypersexual and bp is just one of many illness that contributes to "cheating". very destructive disorder..time to move on. I'm getting off the roller coaster ride.

  • my ex gf, slept with her ex boyfriend, very ugly guy with pot, homeless guy, senior citizen, and a nerd. Hypersexuality is high among people with bipolar. BP sucks, good luck.

  • If you are dating a person with bipolar, there's a higher chance that she/he will cheat on you during hypomanic/manic stage. Many people who are experiencing hypomania or mania have "affairs". My ex gf slept with her ex-boyfriend, then a homeless guy, then a really ugly guy, a senior citizen and now a nerd...all happened when we were together. What is interesting is that the type of people she slept with are the type of people who she would never even consider having sex with. BP sucks.goodluck

  • WIN FOR DEVIN TOWNSEND. He is bipolar as fuck. Just listen to Strapping Young Lad.

  • My mum has bipolar and just for anyone who has it or knows someone who has, it's not an easy disease to have but as shown by all these celebs it is not as uncommon as some people think =D xxx

  • I'm on this list - - my name is Andy Behrman. I'm right after Beethoven. That makes me laugh.

What doesn't make me laugh is this sixty second video on YouTube at ABILIFY KILLS.

If you care about your life, that of a family member or friend, watch ABILIFY KILLS.

    And help save a life!

  • I was a victom of psychiatry for many years.

  • a response to Bipolar People huh? which must be a video i haven't watched yet. I live around my disease, even if it tries to live with me. Don't spend your time worrying about being a disease i think, or being someone with one, i suffer, but i turn it into art, and art is good, and so is my art... come enjoy some at streetlightpoetry channel here on youtube. but don't make it about the disease please make it about the choice words.

  • You state that your list proves that bipolar disorder can be managed. What about the people on that list who lived a tortured life, or who ended their life? Was their life also managed as well as you say?

  • I have bipolar disorder and can tell you honestly it has given me the craziest life you could ever imagine. I can't even begin to tell you the stories of leaving out of the house in the morning, kissing my kids and husband and not coming back for three days. What i did and where I was for three days could be anywhere and with anyone. I've slept with more than 5 strange men in one night once...from 5 different places. And when I come home its as if I was gone for an hour. It's a wild life.
