  • :O I LOVE IT!!! Beautiful lyrics beautiful sound God bless -33

  • Amen

  • The dude with the Mohawk cracks me up!

  • I saw these guys in Ripley,WV at uturn festival they were awesome

  • This band is actually from KY I live not far from them. Amazing guys!! Their music is amazing and the message is powerful!! Mikey your vocals are KILLER!!

  • New favorite song!!

  • How many poeple know that these guys are actually from Kentucky? THAT'S RIGHT!!

  • the lead singer sounds like Kevin Young (the lead singer of the group Disciple)!!!!

  • @kirkcameronfan1 Wat u talkin bout foo! he sound nothing like him

  • i like the music and the motivation and reason behind the song.....but the lyrics are elementary. Its like they wrote and awesome song musically n then just threw chrsitian lyrics in there that were cliche. But nevertheless it is an awesome song!

  • Its nice to know the bassist of this band

  • I thought this joke fit the concept of this video! Enjoy!

  • " A scientist starts a conversation with God and says to HIM that he believes he can create a human being just like HE can, and God says Oh? The scientist says, yes I believe I can create a human. Then God thinks about what the scientist said and says to the scientist, well lets see if you can create a human just like me. So the scientist says, alright then here goes, and then he bends over and picks up some dirt, and God politely interrupts and says, uh, uh, uh, go get your own dirt!" LOL

  • Good Song!

  • I'm agnostic... And thanks for the good answer, you are very kind and polite... I think we will meet in hell ;)

  • whoops i meant @mrepicneo

  • surely*

  • @23freetogod .... if u dont see the evidence of GOD and Jesus....you are purely BLIND

  • @lkimbley3 .. im sorry!

    im just asking..

  • @pulpBleacher then switch sides my friend. Even though I'm not friends with athiestz, come to God.

  • I am an atheist and I like this song

  • i love this song. and all of you idiots who are cussing on here need to stop b/c this is a christain song.

  • they sound way too much like nickelback. but atleast nickelback has been doing their music for over a decade now, these guys are years late to the party. last time this music was relevant was around 7 to 8 years ago. once again christians are behind when it comes to making good art, the message means nothing if the music isn't good or relevant.

  • @fallingup1986 These guys are not trying to be nickelback, that's nickelbacks job. You also need to remember that every artist has a humble beginning. True good art is unique in and of itself, timeless, and always portrays a message. The Message is what the artist portrays in his art, with his art, and without the message, the art is no good or relevant. A true art lover sees the message in the Art. The message here is "encouragment" for those who are believers in Christ. Just enjoy! :)

  • @adonairose777 They aren't trying to be like nickelback, but they sound a lot like them. In fact they sound a lot like several bands that have been out for years, this sound has been around for too long and is basically dying. that is the point, christians are basically 5 to 6 years behind everything, they latch on to a trend when it's dying and become cliche. As for art, it's not just about the message, your message means nothing if it is conveyed in a cliched way.

  • @fallingup1986 Only in your eyes!

  • @adonairose777 Do you think God's intent to make creation was enough or did making that creation beautiful and a reflection of his creativity was something that mattered? Why can't artists reflect that God given creativity. When you sound like a million other bands why should anyone care? You can't copy and paste art and slap a christian message on it. There are countless other bands who share the same message through more creative lyrics and sound.

  • @fallingup1986 They are playing a sound that they like and has a good message from their heart. If you have any kind if music collection, that means you like the sound and message of that music. Is there any thing wrong with that? I also like Nickelback and some of the other artists from that sound/style. I still have music from the 70's that is considered timeless. I am one person who cares. Evidently, this style isn't dead yet! Jus

  • @fallingup1986 Just enjoy, unless you like something else. If you like something else then go listen to what you like. I really was reflecting on the individual not the style. But, this style of musical art still rocks. All of us had music that inspired us, does it matter if they sound like Nickelback and others? They are young enough to have probably listened to Nickelback as teens. I mean come on, does it really matter? Blessings in Christ!

  • @fallingup1986 Let me ask you this, are you a musician? And if you are I am the kind of person that would say, share it. If you even know of some music I might not have heard yet, tell me and share it. I am always looking for new music to listen to also. I just really enjoy 7eventh Time Down. I was going through some crap and Alive in You spoke encouragement to me. Not trying to make enemies here, but if this isn't your style of music to listen to, then don't listen to it, really. Peace.

  • @fallingup1986 The only music genres' I cannot stand is disco and old country, I will not listen to either of them! Rock is my favorite but I even listen to Classical. I do not listen to just one genre, just not all of them.

  • @adonairose777 I Do listen to a lot of hard rock, this band just isn't that great though, it's a problem several music reviewers will point out with bands like 7th time down and many of their ilk. heck even the name is cliched it includes the number 7 used in conjunction with some other words. But of course this music has a place because there is an audience for it, But that is not saying much considering Christian music is built on the basis of using a tired and cliche sound with

  • @adonairose777 a christian message so that christians will buy it. It doesn't do the industry or the art form any good. Basically the message that the christian music industry has given everyone is that we don't make good music but we are talking about jesus so it is okay.

  • @fallingup1986 I gotcha! I see what your saying! The Christian music industry also likes to step on those that dare to be creatively different. That really ticks me off! I like Brian Welch, RED, and others who actually have a different style. The industry will probably find a way to have others play the same style to market the sound. That's the "System" for ya! They have been doing it for years and claim popular demand as if they are speaking for me, yeah right! They are not speaking for me!

  • @fallingup1986 Are you a Believer in Christ?

  • @adonairose777 red isn't creative either, they sound a lot like bands such as breaking benjamin, their only claim to fame was the string arrangements backing up their songs and they got rid of those for their third album. but to their credit they tour with bands like three days grace and breaking benjamin so they know their place in the industry, they aren't a mere vessel for simply, kitchy evangelism.

  • @adonairose777 head sounds too much like korn, there were bound to be similarities but his new song paralyzed is basically a korn song. but atleast he does it that korn sound well so it negates some of the fact that he is doing exactly what he did with korn.

  • @adonairose777 my overall point though, in case you were wondering is that christian culture needs to die, because jesus never came to start a culture yet we take what the world offers, christianise it and then say it's original when all we did was counterfeit culture. we need to talk about a broad range of topics through art and let it be part of everything else that is out there instead of separating our music to be sold through christian stores to christian people.

  • @fallingup1986 OK, now you are going deep, and I would have to say I agree with you. What Jesus came to do was to redeem us BACK into a walking, talking, everyday relationship with Him and The Father. We were all created with gifts and talents (art forms) that are individually unique to cover a very broad range of topics. However, churchianity and the christianese sadly limits everything, including how God is supposed to operate in His church. Sometimes I just want to scream because of it!

  • @fallingup1986 However, there are other factors that play into this, the god of this age, and the day and time we live in. I believe that Our Father and Jesus both wanted every topic covered through our "gifts and talents" and put out there to be a part of life for everyone to see. However, the enemy does not want what Jesus wants, and fights it tooth and nail. For a blood bought believer/follower of Christ, thats the rub! Living in the last days doesn't help either, because time is short!

  • @fallingup1986 I have some friends in Tenn. who deal with promotional music for T&N. They get ahold of some good and unique Christian music, and sometimes the industry won't put it out there because it doesn't sound like what's already out there. That's Sad! Or they change the style around so it does sound like everything else out there. That really just hurts the art and the artist, and then sell it in Christian stores only! It kills sharing art all together. That's how it goes. Blessings :)

  • @adonairose777 things are worse in canada man, you can't get tooth and nail and bec recordings albums anywhere except christian bookstores, and those are shutting down because no one wants to pay 19 to 21 dollars for a cd. contrast that with the states where it's easy to buy t&n stuff at a place like best buy.

  • @fallingup1986 I know what you mean! Canadians morals are a little different than ours. I hate to say it, but America is so "entertainment" minded, our industry mass produces everything and that is why we can access everything so readily. That might be one of the reasons. You have to understand, most of the people in Canada (who are true Canadians) are (French background) Catholics, or they are Americans trying to get away from the "system" here. LOL

  • @fallingup1986 Its the way the industry works here that can run an Artist and his Art into the ground, to the point of not hearing or seeing the Art any longer. It is really sad. The industry here will produce Art at the Artists expense, instead of just putting the Art out there and sharing it with everyone. That is another form of what the Bible calls usery! And it is wrong no matter which way you slice it. The industry wants a cut, even if they had nothing to do with the Art itself.

  • @adonairose777 They are the ones who pay for studio time, advertising, and distribution. So they do deserve something.

  • @martian712 Yes they do, especially if they are good and fair, however, if you get the greedy ones then you are in trouble. I was attacking the bad and greedy. :)

  • @adonairose777 I'm just saying you can't blame them for trying to make more money. If you are offered a raise at work you don't go "No, I'd like to work for free from now on." No, you take the money.

Besides the music industry is dieing as it is.

  • @martian712 I do not blame them for trying to make more money. If the Artist is giving out a raise in pay or more money, hey, I would be the first in line. I grew up in the 60's and 70's and alot of Artists were taken advantage of and ripped off so to speak. CCR and others. Now the Art of the Artist seems to be the target. In a sense I agree with you, the Music industry is dying as it is and everything is starting to sound alike, but with more money I can guarantee your own style and sound.

  • @martian712 Dont get me wrong there are alot of good people deserving of every penny they have earned, I was really addressing the ones who don't deserve to take more than they deserve. I just wish originality was still the standard of the sound, instead of who you need to sound like. I believe this is the reason the music industry is dying.

  • @martian712 I also believe that if an Artist does "sound like" another Artist, lets hear the message and to each his own.

  • @fallingup1986 Didn't Tooth and Nail start in Canada? Or maybe that was a different Christian record label. One was started in the small canadian town and manages several diverse bands from that same town. Hawk Nelson, Thousand Foot Krutch, ect.

  • @martian712 I have a question; doesn't Tooth and Nail do secular music too?

  • @adonairose777 The reason I am asking is because back in the 80's I was into Dokken and it seemed like Dokken was T&N.

  • @martian712 Tooth and Nail started in Seattle and those two bands are on tooth and nail. As for the issue of labels that i'm reading about, as mentioned before most labels limit artistic expression for personal gain, it's unavoidable in most cases.

  • How the hell did I get here?? Damn YouTube, you weird..

  • I love you all I'm so proud of everyone of you and grateful for the messages your spreading

  • Not super impressed with this band as a whole, but this is actually a cool song.

  • These guys sound just like Nickelback! They're really good.

  • Thats wha i thought finally a band that has a simalar sound to nickelback but is sold out for Jesus

  • Good Song :)

  • I am usually not all that into Christian music but I have to admit this is pretty cool!

  • great song guys, God bless your band! and more plays on youtube!

  • If there are anyone looking for some really good christian hard rock bands...check out....icon for hire, dont wake aislin, sent by ravens (awesome!), Wolves at the Gates, Blindside, Showbread, Ilia, Fireflight, Flyleaf..thats just a start.....message me if ya want to find some more that maybe you haven't heard of! God Bless!!

  • Thank You Jesus, I was hoping that a new Christian rock band would be released. Not to say there aren't any good ones out there, but they often either turn to more of a worship style or worse yet, just go the complete secular route.

  • I LOVE this song! Praise God :)

  • That is real Music!

  • I'm an Atheist and dig this hard rock music regardless if its about myths and fairytales

  • it isn't about myths and fairytales. the proof of a creator is overwhelming compared to evidence of other theses that are being spread around

  • Im not christian or normally into religious based songs I guess as you may call them, but this is good to see that a rock band can do this well. It's a great song :) Good job

  • Well...I'm not christian but I love this song. Love their message.

  • @StefanLamy god still loves you :) even your not a christian

  • what do you mean by saying you ain't christian, you guys joke of almost everything

  • This song brings me to my knees!! Love the video's concept too! WOW

  • this songs plays in my church every sunday

  • You may say "Hey, those guys are "Christians" and they have tattoos and earrings, what's that for?

Well, you don't know if they made those tattoos before becoming christians and the earrings are a way to introduce with non-religion people and make them see we are all the same, that God loves us with tattos or not, earrings or not. God Bless All Who Are With Me :D

  • Awesome ending!!! I was all the video thinking "What does the old man with the dirt had to do with the video?"

And now I understand. God made us from the dirt after all, so the old guy is a representation of God.

  • this is my jam track! if it's on, it gets cranked!

  • to all y'all suckas that hate on this band because of their message, if you don't enjoy the music, don't listen to it. Comment on the vid, the music, or shut your mouths.

  • @GAdawg2k8 That's not how YouTube works.

  • this is the BETTER nickelback- spirit included ;-D

  • It's so weird, like, Christians are against homosexual marriage, and always treat them like second class citizens, then turn around and sing love songs to a man. The irony, is incredible.

  • @rounder421 its like saying i love you to your dad GEEZ!!

  • @rounder421

thats failing the purpose of these "christians". If you want to know how a christian should behave

look at jesus, who forgave the woman being unfaithful. I know homosexual realtionships and in fact i dont know just one who is at least harmonic as so many marriages between man & woman I see in the church.

in plus: not the christians are against, gods word marks is as failure. that doesnt say he dont love them. he knows them better then themselves, and has better plan for their life.

  • @louderthanabel u didn't cap God and u made it look like gods instead of God's but good comment :P

  • @rounder421 I'm sorry you feel that way, bro, I really am. You need to realize that God loves you for who you are no matter what you do and what you say. As for the whole homosexual thing: it's irrelevant to this song and this topic. We sing to God because he is our FATHER, our DADDY, our Savior. I serve God because nothing else in my life has brought peace, except Jesus Christ. Jesus Loves you and died for you. I will pray that you get a revelation of God's Father Heart. Peace to you, bro.

  • @GAdawg2k8 God isn't... a thing. God's nothing.

  • @BoredInfidel You are right when you say God isn't a thing. God is Love, he is Everlasting, he is indescribable. He is Spirit and the inspiration for good. He loves you no matter what you choose to do. He loves you even when you mock him because he made you and he wants to have a true Father-son relationship with you through Jesus Christ. Boredinfidel, whatever your real name is, Jesus loves you.

  • @GAdawg2k8 Tell god that I'm ok, but there are 32,000 kids everyday in Africa suffering, and dying of starvation. I'll trade my 'reward' in heaven if he quits sitting around and starts saving lives down here. I don't care about a reward in heaven. I care real suffering, not the kind of suffering white American Christians might experience. Your god is immoral. Judges, chapter 11. Read the whole thing, it's disgusting. Virgin burnt sacrifice in trade for victorious combat? No.

  • @rounder421 I know the story you are referring to, and that was the choice of the person to make a vow. The vow backfired. It was never God's intention for human sacrifice and it never said that she was offered in that way. God does not condone human sacrifice. He condemned those that sacrificed to Molech, the Canaan fertility god. It would never have even crossed His mind to do this! God condemns human sacrifice. Everyone quotes Judges when arguing against God.

  • @rounder421 in verse 39 it says she returned to her father, Jephthah, Not sure what it means by in accordance to the vow he had made, but it says that she had no relations with a man and it is Jewish tradition since that time that Jewish women go to a secluded place for four days every year, to honor her memory. There is starvation and suffering, yes, I agree. And it's hard to see God as a good God when those things happen. But he weeps over those starving children.

  • @rounder421 He is waiting for people to make a difference. He could do it all Himself, sure, but what good does that do Him. He wants us to help people in their time of need. He is saddened by the starving children in Africa. You say why doesn't he stop sitting around and start saving lives down here. He's asking you the same question. What will you do? God wants people to choose to change the world. Ghandi said, "We must be the change we see in the world." Thank you for your respectful response

  • @rounder421 As for the daughter of Jephthah, I have a hard time believing God would allow her to be sacrificed. He is totally against an abominable practice.

  • @rounder421 read Jeremiah 7:30-31, particularly 31: "They have build the high places of Topheth, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I DID NOT COMMAND, and it DID NOT COME INTO MY MIND."I wish I had a better explanation Judges 11:39 and the method of how he fulfilled the vow. "she did not have relations with a man" should be a clue that she remained a virgin until the end of her days, which was most likely until she was much older. I really don't think she was sacrificed.

  • Christelback. Barf.

  • First line: "your love's in sodomy." Hmm.

  • @BoredInfidel haha... lol. I sure hope this is a joke... haha

  • @BoredInfidel Are you kidding me! That doesn't even make sense.

  • "You're not making Christianity better, you're making rock 'n roll worse."

    --Hank Hill.

  • @rounder421 Hank Hill is a fictional cartoon character created by a hater of Christianity. So, that quote is not relevant.

  • i believe i found a new favorite band :D

  • awesome bruut

  • @icemanx2117 ok thankz.

  • thumbs up if these guy's seem like the christian nickelback

  • I really like it! Its the first time I heard them.

  • @pulpBleacher No one likes trolls. So, enjoy it for what it is and don't mention the fact you think the God message is a load of crap.

  • @pulpBleacher That'd be like me saying "I am a Christian and all, and even though I think their Satanic messages are retarded, I still listen to Slayer for the music."

  • ima Jesus freak till the day i die

  • i hope many christian band like 7eventh Time Down .

will rise in all the earth..

  • @23freetogod

If you want go talk about Jesus. But never sing about Jesus. This is stupid! Nobody knows exist he or not... We all humans and you don't need a religion to be kind or fair.

Thats why I like Skillet, RED... (they talk about God but their songs about feelings between people...)

  • @MrEpicNeo actually people no he is a real person... its just a matter of believing he is the son of god and still lives.. the stupid part is ppl that tell christians to shut up.. but they expect christians to listnen to atheist crap all day.. :)

  • @MrEpicNeo not true. with skillet at least. look up the stories behind the songs. they're about Jesus, God, or at least their relationship with. not all of them, but several.

but, if they want to, aren't they entitled to sing what they want? there's stuff out there that's absolute TRASH and no one tells them to be quiet. if you don't like their stuff, that's fine. if they don't get as many people crazy about them because of what they choose to sing about, that's their choice. let them make it.

  • @MrEpicNeo i like them but when its not about Jesus whats the point you can believe in God but unless you believe in Jesus it does not mean anything and you are going to hell and once you truly believe in Jesus you want your life to be all about him

  • @mrosed agreed!!

  • I can't stop listening to this song!

  • my new favourit christian band! :)

  • This is the christian version of Nickelback..haha.

  • @zippy0099 yeah except nickelback stinks.

  • i have loved these guys since the day i seen them in a small christian rock band fundraiser concert. they were really nice when i met them and they even went lengths to sign my cd. i always wear my 7th time down bracelet in support.

  • Favorite song......so awesome!!!!!!!

  • These guys are great. Love their sound!

  • dope song

  • Now at the end this is just a guess but because of the lyrics I'm going to guess that the old man was "God" In this video because the lyrics state "I am alive in you you are the truth your the air that keeps me breathing wonderful so beautiful I am alive in you" and the singer appeared from dust that the old man blew... Just a hunch...

  • @23freetogod Ohyus My friend.

  • no that's not Chris Daughtry on the guitar

  • awesome band, saw em live and they sound exactly the same....super cool guys to talk to

  • Love this song! Almost reminds me of Seventh Day Slumber...

  • @Lunts24 they almost copied the whole name lol

  • 1st time tru this song...."hmm not bad"

2nd time..."hey i can feel some life in this"

    3rd time....."Yeah thats it! Rock n Rolla!"

  • Sounds like Nickelback mixed with Theory of a deadman and seventh day slumber.. :/

  • @4givensinnerC11313 that's what i thought...but that's an awesome thing :D

  • Loving this song....

  • Bob your head and ROCK!

  • WOW! I have a new favorite song!! That song is fan-tas-tic!

  • Great song by a great band @23freetogod and yes it is a christian band
