  • one says we're too isolated, another (corapi) preached about the evils of socialism, so which is it? Can't have it both ways....people are not choosing to be isolated..it is happening all around us and to us....capitalism is pure evil and drives most of what goes on..where i live bookshops and coffeeshops closed, downtown shopping replaced with box stores, no more community groups, anonymous donations to people we never see, this is all by design, no im not crazy....

  • Isolated? Yes! But what are they finding in their souls? Furthermore, how practical are they being in preserving their historically inherited Culture? I think inward and outward problems come from discrete practical issues which cannot be addressed in a single Info-Bite! And may not be politically correct or sufficiently dogmatic.

  • On the road to cana, there's gonna be terrain---an maybe some cow or ox shit, so watch it

  • Great great man. He is a saint. I was sent to Children Village when I was a kid by the courts. After I met Father my life changed, and light enter my soul. He even encouraged me to be an alter boy. I love you father. Thank you for serving mankind as you have, and for so long.

  • God bless you Father Benedict Groeschel.

  • I have always found it rather perplexing how Franciscans, who take a vow of poverty, generally speaking live a more comfortable life than most of us. St. Francis was basically a wandering beggar- that was really poverty and a truer imitation of Christ. The friars are released from the worries and anxieties of the modern condition: finding and maintaining a job, paying bills, a mortgage, all the hassle of the 'rat race'. I was a novice for a while but it was too cushy for my conscience.

  • I can't help but see that youtube comment-wars are an testament to what the Father is talking about. We have lives of such ease and isolation that many of us seek to create a pretend battle where no real one exists.

  • I was in a boys home called the Children's Village and I was his alter boy.

He was and remains a pillar of my life.

The children's Village was a great place.

  • Road to Cana...It's reminded me to underwent for a simenar before the day of our Matrimony. That road I felt isolated in many ways, but even though; this is the only road that I knew, straight of no exchange, and no return...Pray for Us!

  • Yea...When I was young I walked 5 Miles to Fraking School !....Boo Hoo ........Welcome to the real world !....I welcome HELL !!!

  • @ART1975CZ

    I'll pray for you.

  • Don't Pray for me ! ....I Love Sin ! I can debate this all day ! ....Maybe some peple Love Privacy !

  • solitude is not a bad thing, I don't think individual solitude is his message, in fact the friars of his community take time every month or so for a solo retreat for several weeks.

  • Praying for someone is as much a right for the person doing it as it is for the person it is intended for. Since you don't believe in any of this, it shouldn't be an issue for you, should it ?

  • Look, I believe when we die, we are worm food !

  • I met him once in Wagga Wagga Australia in 1991.

  • Father Groeschel is always on point. HE has taught me alot about my faith and i thank him for it. This is no different, i really miss a sense of community in my life and no youtube is no subsititute

  • This is the good and holy priest whom God used to bring me back to the Church from a life of hedonism.

  • awesome!!!

  • Yea he is a kind man Tall but a gentle mannor to him like wise old priests I know. He came once to Fort wayne indiana for a holy hour. I have photos to show it too, the little flower holy hour, at the Cathedral of the Imaculate Conception Fort Wayne Indiana.

His grasp of teaching is good and his knowledge of the sciances is also great because it is what he did before becoming a religious priest.
