only in two. First, orginal characters is from Magic Knight Rayearth, and later in Tsubasa. Also Mokona in MKR is male and in Tsubasa is female :P

From what I've heard, the Mokona here is the original. The two in Tsubasa and xxxHolic are clones of him. And Tsubasa and xxxHolic have different Mokona, I think. The xxxHolic Mokona is black with a blue jewel, but the Tsubasa Mokona looks like the one here (the original).

As for the male/female argument, I don't believe that was ever revealed. In Tsubasa, I've heard Mokona addressed as both male and female, and referred to him/herself as both genders. I assume it's a translation mistake.

Actually, this is incorrect. In xxxHolic, or was it in Tsubasa, we can see both mokonas. But yes, the black mokona is the common one in xxxHolic.

sry my cousin was using my account (4 the hundreth time) and yes I read rayearth...but she didn't, but you can't really blame her Primera looks a little different here than she does in tsubasa due to clamp changing their style...but Mokona is still as cute as ever!

Mokona is origionally from Magic Knights Rayearth. Tsubasa Chronicles is a mixture of all of the manga team CLAMP's works. As for which is better I think they're both good. Magic Knights was the first manga I ever read and since then I've loved anything from CLAMP.

Mokona is in Tsubasa as the talking varient.

If you watch the anime xxx Holic or read the manga Yuuko-San explains that she met the man who created the first orginal Mokona, and she and another, (Cloud) made two others also known as Large and Sole.

I'm pretty sure based off my store bought manga that Yuuko said, she and Clow Ried (Reed?) had met the original creator of the first Original Mokona Modoki.

And after meeting the Original white white companion of Cleff and the gang from MKR, they made the talking Varients.

There are also a few short stories based on these talking varients by Clamp themselves.

And yes in MKR Cleff did make the original Mokona.

I'm pretty sure, that it stated as much in that series at one point.
