If anyone beleives that there are two different gospels then you have no understanding of the entire Word which does not conflict with itself. why is it that Christians are lawless? They have no laws.
Yeshua and Peter minister to the circumcision which is Israel. Paul ministers to the uncircumcision the gospel. Some seem to think that there is no difference in scripture as to who is being spoken to. But if that is so, why would not Peter & the other 11 go directly to the Gentiles? Could it be that their gospels are different? To whom was the minister to the circumcision speaking when He said this? Doesn't scripture say Messiah accomplished all the prophets had written concerning Him? yes.
@2tires The gospels are not different. But the gentiles knew nothing of Torah and Paul had to teach them from the beginning. the Jews know Torah but had to understand how Messiah fulfilled the scriptures and understand the Jesus/Yeshua Is the Messiah
Romans 15:8 Now I say that Yeshua was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises [made] unto the fathers: Romans 15:16 That I should be the minister of Yeshua to the Gentiles [uncircumcised], ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
Galatians 2:7 the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as [the gospel] of the circumcision [was] unto Peter;
What that means is that Christ came to fulfill all that the law and the prophets said about him and what he was going to do. Also when he says "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven" it is talking about the commandments which he was about to teach two verses later, not the law of moses. Satan has done a mighty work to confuse many. The new covenant is the law of Christ in our hearts
@carrieanne55 No it's not. It is to love God and to love our neighbor.
Galatians 2:16 - "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."
Galatians 3:11 - "But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith."
Galatians 3:24-25 - "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are NO LONGER under a schoolmaster."
Galatians 5:4 - "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace."
My dear Sister, Have you not read the Book of Galatians? We need to live by faith and not by The Law. Keeping the Law of Moses can not save you, the Physical. We live by faith, Spiritual laws, Love God with all your Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength. And Secondly Love one another as yourself. Keeping these two laws, that are written on our hearts, so we do not have to work at it, it becomes natural for God's Chosen...to obey His Will. Where is the Grace in your Law? Admin of Grace? New Deal. Love!
We need a husband to bear our iniquity! The book of Hebrews explains the tabernacle and other symbolic "guardians" of the TRUE things to come. The teachings here are false, you can not be saved by the law. If so, we should all be physically circumcised.
As the apostle Paul said, Christ set us free from the curse of the law. The 10 commandments still stand as a law of love. Christ Jesus defined these laws in His ministry and parables and teachings. Jesus showed us that the law was in fact, the prophecies of the need for a savior (Numbers chapter 30)
who said that God's kingdom is on earth? Yeshua said, I go to prepare a place for you. Also he said my kingdom is not of this earth. Messiah ruling on this earh is a doctrine, but I don't see it it the Word.
Why would Messiah want to reign here with all the unbelievers? Where is the New Heavens and the New Earth? What about 2 Peter Chapter 2 If messiah is in Jerusalem, how could the whole world fit there? What about the false messiah? He may be the one you are waiting for. Many people will believe he is the Messiah, but they will be wrong. But anyway, to us, this doesn't really matter because mose people only think about the end and not what they need to do and learn everyday for the Lord.
What was the point of putting man on earth in the first place? I don't pretend to know, but I think the scriptures I provided are pretty clear where the kingdom will be. I think that Christ is preparing the way for the arrival of the Father(1Cor 15:22-28 & Psalm 110)....I believe the earth will be cleansed with fire before the arrival of the Father(much like it was cleansed in the flood)....The "heavens" refer to the stars and moon and such and those will be altered along with the earth......
I assure you that I am not waiting for the false messiah...in fact, to expect to "wake up" in heaven when you die only to see that you are still on earth could work to Satan's advantage...If you look at pagan beliefs, the common thread is that there is an expectation of going to heaven...compare that to what the Bible teaches(a Kingdom on earth) and you will see the gospel is about the KINGDOM OF GOD...utopia on earth...Christ is the KING of kings.
I agree with you that many people want the "prize" without considering what it takes to earn that prize(obedience).
I honestly think that when Christ returns there will be BILLIONS of people who are "disappointed" because they had false expectations of a "come as you are" God who doesn't require anything of us. Christ will be fought against by the nations at His arrival and will called JEWISH!!
I expect a very Jewish Kingdom to be ruling when I awake from my sleep(death).
Is Christ reigning in you right now? If not, you have missed the messiah as the Jews literally waited for the messiah to be a literal King. If your waiting for the Christ to come and be your "King", your missing out! He is here in spirit! Literal is earthly. God is spirit, and we should walk in the spirit!
Christ is my King(currently), BUT the WORLD will soon see thee KING OF KINGS reign ON EARTH.....In the meantime we are to be preparing for this Kingdom(thy kingdom come)by doing our best to follow the LAWS of that kingdom....This world is currently under the control of Satan and that includes all the false religious systems(Christianity included)....Will you repent when Christ returns and actually tells you that you are mistaken in your beliefs?
yes holy spirit in us,but dont be fooled into thinking grace is a reason to sin which is breaking commandments. look at most christians worshing idols pictures people pagan holidays satan fools the world be careful shalom
Amen! God's grace through Jesus Christ shedding and teaching does NOT give us a "free" ticket to be disobedient to Christ, our teacher, redeemer and King! And does not give us the freedom to disobey God's Holy Spirit.
Ok. I get what you are saying about Torah. The only problem is, NO ONE has ever fully kept the Law but Yeshua, and you seem to be saying that if you break the commandments you won't enter the kingdom of heaven.
Problem: Anyone who has been angry with their brother, or had lust in their heart has broken Torah > they haven't kept the commandments.
Did you know that atonement was only for ignorant sin? If you sinned on purpose you were stoned. I am saying, never sin on purpose. The blood of Messiah (once you are saved by his blood) is only for ignorant sin. Read Numbers 15 and Hebrews 10:26-29 God doesn't change. If you say you know him and keep not his commandments - you are a liar and the truth is not with you.... Also read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 be not decieved.....
I have no problem with Torah being active today. I'm simply pointing out the fact that not one person who has ever lived is capable of living without trangressing The Law.
Can you go from the day of your Salvation until the day of your death without transgessing The Law at all?
Teshuva is not a one time event, it is an ongoing struggle:
"...work out your salvation with fear and trembling..." Phil 2:12-13
"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" Rom 3:23
Shalom, What I said above is that the blood of Messiah is for ignorant sins- mistake we make that are not on purpose. If you sin on purpose knowingly, you are not saved, nor do you know the Lord, nor do you have the fear of the Lord, nor do you believe in the judgment of God. sinning on purpose, knowingly is not in the bible, it is in the churches
What about those people who did not live in ignorance for the first 30-40 years of their life who eventually turn to the Lord. Are you saying that his blood is not for those sins?
Or am I misunderstanding you? Keep in mind that Paul himself said he kept doing what he didn't want to do, and kept not doing the things he wanted to do. He struggled with sin, and knew he struggled with it. He realized what he wanted to do but never could seem to do it.

Since he knew he kept doing what he didn't want to do, does that mean he was willfully doing it and wouldn't receive forgiveness?
The bible tells us that when we come to Christ our spirit is made alive, but our body is still dead due to sin.
