  • Was wondering if this is the real ''LIKAMBO'' i know. Yes it is! after 4.30.... great music ....likambo maloba ....papa mama mama mama...

  • somotros c sa la music, ya solo

  • je suis tt a fait daccord avec toi ptiona!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what a strong voice franco has!its a lovely raw performance by all the players, thankyou rahndi

  • wow major nostalgia man, i remember wen my dad showed mw a vid of hi slive performence wen i was 4

  • Good memories

  • True african jazz with emphasised african rhythm and harmonies. You dont see and hear that kind of live perfomermance today. CLASSIC

  • simply MAGIC

  • thank you for sharing the maestro, he performed in my small town in Kenya when I was alittle boy it was chaos to say the least!

  • you should check my remake of luambo's "Linkambo"

  • Hi all TPOK fans. Anybody can tell me the song " ILUNGA YA CHERRY" if not mistaken was a big hit in ealry 80, what is the tittle? I'm badly looking for it. Thanx in advance.

  • check aboubakar postings

  • This track is definitely MISSILE, not Likambo. Please edit.

  • Anyone of you know about Rocherou? I don´t know if it`s writen properly, but he is a very good African singer too. I hope that I find him !!!

  • Hi RUMBADA, his popular name was Tabu Ley. If you check even in youtube you will find a lot of his video. He used to sing with Mbilia Bel and Faya Tes. Go and enjoy now.

  • Where do you live Rahndi? I'd like to come round and steal your collection!

  • Check you email box, I left directions. Old school smile emoticon.

  • African geniuses, no one comes closer!

  • omg!!!! what GENIUSES'S.....its' when you see stuff liek this u see the real roots of black american music!!! fantastic! the greatest band on the planet - ever

  • I think Franco went crazy on this song..!

  • I wonder where the famous blue Gibson guitar is today. Hopefully not in some Paris Hardrock Cafe.

  • Yes Otenga, he was at his best and that was his legendary guitar!

  • Does anyone know the actual title of the song they play after the introduction of Franco. On "Still Alive" it is identified as "Likambo." On the CD with Jolie Detta it is identified as "Sept Ans De Mariage." This CD contains some "souped" (retro non-stop)up versions of past songs so I don't trust the title. (The Jolie Detta songs are worth the price of the CD, however).

  • Never mind. I'm an idiot. It's "Chacun Pour Soi".

  • Actually it is Likambo

  • Great stuff! franco was in perfect mood for rocking and he did.More pls.

  • More on the way. I have been out of town and trying to catch up on work.

  • Thanks for these great postings, I know you are a gentleman who keeps his word, we are waiting for more!

  • major arrangement.
