Hi all TPOK fans. Anybody can tell me the song " ILUNGA YA CHERRY" if not mistaken was a big hit in ealry 80, what is the tittle? I'm badly looking for it. Thanx in advance.
Hi RUMBADA, his popular name was Tabu Ley. If you check even in youtube you will find a lot of his video. He used to sing with Mbilia Bel and Faya Tes. Go and enjoy now.
omg!!!! what GENIUSES'S.....its' when you see stuff liek this u see the real roots of black american music!!! fantastic! the greatest band on the planet - ever
Does anyone know the actual title of the song they play after the introduction of Franco. On "Still Alive" it is identified as "Likambo." On the CD with Jolie Detta it is identified as "Sept Ans De Mariage." This CD contains some "souped" (retro non-stop)up versions of past songs so I don't trust the title. (The Jolie Detta songs are worth the price of the CD, however).
Was wondering if this is the real ''LIKAMBO'' i know. Yes it is! after 4.30.... great music ....likambo maloba ....papa mama mama mama...

True african jazz with emphasised african rhythm and harmonies. You dont see and hear that kind of live perfomermance today. CLASSIC
