  • I love your excitement; this helps in learning. Thank you. Your MgCl2 explaination was so much clearer than my professor taught.

  • why instead of going to school we just dont watch videos and end it to school is better and you understand it better.

  • I understand this teacher better than my chemistry teacher.

  • This is a bit better than school, you can ask for the teacher to repeat what he said and you can just go back!!!!

    XD

  • can you be my science teacher? (jk).

    thank you.

  • where on the periodic table does it say how many electrons an element is inclined to lose? i don't quite get it.

  • thanks for saving me on my chem final!

  • 3:30 = love

  • actually the cation looses electrons and the anion gains electrons

  • potassium has 1 valence electron in its 4th energy level. If it looses that electron it becomes stable because now it has 8 valence electrons on its 3rd energy level. If it had gained an electron like u said, then it would have 2 valence electrons in its 4th energy level. that does not make it stable. 1+ means it is giving away one(giving is positive). I- means it is stealing one(stealing is negative). when u give, u lose. when u steal, u gain, hope that helps!

  • flourine has a 1- so it is gaining. Na has a 1+ so it is losing. 1- means its stealing an electron(stealing is negative). 1+ means its giving away an electron (giving is positive)> Thats how i remember

  • the accent for chlorine was amazing.
