  • where is the 1st annual mileage challenge

  • the tahoe's the best --> it's able to hold 8 people, lots of cargo and towing capacity and it's really the best looking car i've ever seen

  • you know with a video title like 'mileage challenge', i didn't see a single mention about what kind of mileage any of the vehicles get on those 200 mile real-world mileage test, only how the mileage is shown.. err???

  • sorry bill, but the only thing i see that is tight about it is my butt hole.

  • I would take the tahoe or the prius.

  • TOYOTA PRIUS ROCKS!!

  • yay whoooooo hoooooo 3 rd generation prius can't wait till it comes out whts the mpg!!

  • Toyota Prius! MY FAV.!!!

The 3rd generation is supposed to get 70-90 MPG!!

  • I would rather have lower gas mileage than have to fork out big bucks for new batteries.

  • hybrids dont do anything on the high way so for high way driving your better off without one. i also hate how they changed the look of the tahoe i dont want it to have those wheels and trim if it is a hybrid it should look regular.

  • i like muscle cars as mutch as the next gie but were due for a serious radacle change..if gas gos mutch higher you will not beable to aford to drive to the dealership to look at these cars neverminde bye one.gas milage is the no.1 issue in my book ,dependabilty should be a given .i kinda like the compressed air car on youtube,,put that in the hands of the gm enginears and see what they come up with.

  • Holy shit! You can't spell worth a damn.

  • lmao good point

  • I had a 1992 Honda Civic that got 45 mpg. So in 16 years they have accomplished nothing. I am not impressed Honda. Get your act together.

  • HONDA CIVIC HYBRID ROCKZ!

The Prius in my opinion is not that good. Niether are the other hybrids. Honda makes the best cars

  • Agreed my old 1989 BMW 325e got 35mpg highway and 32mpg city, my current 740i gets 18mpg city 24mpg highway....but its much more fun to drive than my old 3 series.

  • i really think that a turbo injected v6 HYBRID powered mustang, comaro, and challenger would sell and still be cool. i also think it would convinse people to buy hybrids and AMERICAN muscle cars. think about it. right now the only big hybrid automakers out their are toyota and ford. and the big selling model is the prius. now if so many people are buying a car that look dino-shit just because it has 65 or so mpg, think about how many people would buy the mustang and so forth.

  • the pruis is awesome!!!

what about the toyota camry hybrid and the highlander hybrid!!!!

    hahahahahahahahah

but good job anywy.........i like it so much:D

    OMG

  • Lame, what did THEY get over the 200 mile trip?

The Tahoe is pretty stupid its EPA is rated at 20mpg our '98 Ford Expedition gets 20.5mpg on the highway with a 4.6L gas V8, while loaded with people and lugage

  • Yeah, your dirty old 98 Expedition gets 20.5 mpg on the perfectly flat highway with no traffic, driving at 60mph. And then you get into city traffic, and you get 14mpg. The Tahoe Hybrid gets 20mpg combined. Combined means that city driving + highway driving = 20mpg, that is good for a vehicle with the proportions of the Tahoe.

  • Ya but the tahoe can still tow more than the 98 expedition.

  • civic is most practical, but too small of an interior for bigger americans. good luck at the pump :)

  • Fuel Economy:

    1st Place - Prius, 46mpg

    2nd Place - Civic Hybrid, 42mpg

    3rd Place - Escape Hybrid, 32mpg (2WD) or 28mpg (4WD)

    4th Place - Tahoe Hybrid, 20mpg

  • even those are the fuel economy, carscom should compare cars that is similar not a sedan to a suv.

  • i think the Tahoe wins because of it's size. it gets great mileage for it's size and weight

    (27 MPG in Canada)

  • Hmmm... strange it gets 7mpg more in Canada than it does in the US

  • Exactly.

  • That's an annoying voice at the end. And hey... this video was added today!

  • yeah, it kinds sounds sick and coarse.

  • this video is POINTLESS, all i learned is where the mpg gauge is, the navi, the brake assis thingy, and stupid things i dont needa noe. I WANNA NOE THE MILEAGE OF EACH CAR, is it fuel efficient, is it worth its money, is it "enviornmentally friendly".

you should rename the video "noe where your mpg gauges, brake assist, or energy consumption on different cars" NOT mileage challenge.

  • wow,I didn't learn anything from this video. All I heard was hybrid, hybrid hybrid....whats the point of making a video like this and racing through it?
