Not quite, true it's a pug cross, but with a chihuahua :), puggles are much bigger with the beagle cross.

their are alot of chugs that look more breed then the other....if the pup popped out of a pug mother then will most likely look more pug if came from a chihuahua then look possibly more like a chih or even right in the middle like mine. :) He's a stud.

@feenixrising10 - Romeo is more the size of a pug, but leaner and with longer legs and a longer snout. He runs so fast, it's like a mini-greyhound lol. I have seen chugs closer to chihuahua size as well.

@hoehawk99 I guess it depends on the chug and how much pug genes they have :), but Romeo has a longer snout and has no breathing problems whatsoever. He still has little wrinkles on his face though. He does snore, and that's hilarious! Romeo has such a great personality, I hope you get one just like him!

I wouldn't credit your dog's health completely from his Chihuahua side, I have a 4 year old Pug with no breathing issues and am very blessed. I'm just saying "hybrid vigor" isn't all it's chalked up to be by BYBs.
