  • still no sign of this race being televised in the uk/ireland next week!!! such a shame!

  • @paulboggan will be on eurosport 1 or 2 for sure. and multiple online streams for free

  • @grinmaster1 its not mate - only tv of it will be a bike/f3 highlight show on motors on the 10th december at 9pm. just got a confirmation from the organisers! online streams are an option yes but not at stupid o clock on a sunday morning :-)

  • @paulboggan wow that sucks ~.~ thanks for the info

  • @paulboggan heya, was able to watch it live in the end on N-TV (german) ;)

  • @grinmaster1 wunderbar!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

  • Can't waiting next week....yippieeeeeeeeee

  • lawl at Piquet jr. making a name for himself for silly crashes well before his Singapore F1 shenanigans

  • Air intakes. Notice how every type of car has the same hole - kind of like a NASCAR restrictor plate?

  • @Th3Lamb5 Although the sizes of the snorkels you describe are homoligated thereby limit the ram-air or forced induction effect it is not the primary performance balencer. A "restrictor plate" looks like a gasket & is put between the carb & the intake above the cam restricting the fuel/air going in to the block. Restrictors in modern racing r a means of constricting air before the fuel is introduced. In a car w/electric ignition, it looks&acts like a clamp on the hose connecting the airfilter

  • Awesome. I think those are Air ducts. The back of the cars are much lower. F1 cars have Air Ducts on the top of the car making them taller. These are weird though. Having them on the side isjust creating more drag

  • what is that big white air duct looking thing on the cars?

  • @122ffsdd Yeah I was thinking that too, I thought it was a camera at first but then I realised this video is in 2003 so god knows what it might be

  • @122ffsdd its a air duct to get more air in to cool the brakes and engine. F1 cars have modes they can switch about to cool engine and breaks. The teams in this series cant really afford all that stuff.
