Der Daytona aus Miami Vice war eine umgebaute Corvette. Das Auto wurde berühmt. Das hat Ferrari gar nicht gefallen und so - laut Gerüchten - habe sie einen schwarzen Ferrari zur Verfügung gestellt. Dieser wurde aber, da viele Szenen in der Nacht gedreht wurden - weiss lackiert. So kam der weiße Ferrari zustande.
