  • The eggs that fell were fine... Until they took an arrow to the knee...

  • I'm making one that has to be dropped from 25ish meters, and I was thinking if the bottom (we aren't dropping a weight on top of it) had a triangular shape, it would deflect the force of the fall.

  • dis izz dha shit

not this shit ihz lhame ahaz a mf

    -Shouthside shit

  • mine has to be with straws

  • Will it survive 25+meteres above the ground? or at least 10+?

  • how bout down a stadium with precision? it sucks

  • how bout 6 feet

  • 1 meter big freaking deal were dropping ours out of a three story window into a recycling bin, i wish there was a video to help me with that...

  • it would be safer if you had made in the shape of a tetrahedron

  • I'm in AP Physics, we can use WHATEVER materials we want :D

  • NICE JOB

  • we droped our from a 32 ft bulding and my project won

  • We had to make a contraption for a egg inside it. It would drop from 4 meters,5meters,6meters and 10 meters. Mine made it all the way!

  • we have to drop ours off of the football stadium..we can onl use toothpicks and hot glue during class time. however im experimenting at home and i only have tape. my cone shaped idea failed because it is extremely difficult to make a cone. lucky you got cardboard.

  • @izombiac24 goodluck

  • @izombiac24 Good luck man, my shit is due this week BRO!

  • @izombiac24 lol we gotta use a whole buncha stuff but toothpicks are replaced with popsicle sticks. shit you did with friggin toothpicks what did u do? i need to KNOW!!! lol

  • @izombiac24 u go to northside if dont pleaz regard

  • @izombiac24 and i thought just paper was hard..but damn toothpicks ??

  • Thanks for the video. it really helped me because i have to do an egg drop for my class, i would love to be able to make one like yours but i don't think i can. Any advice?

  • @casper99740 best thing to do is to cushion and suspend the egg, so that i can absorb the bounce

  • yyyyy

  • How did you come up with this idea?

  • @coloranimalcrackers well i knew i wanted to use card because its cheap and recyclable, although it needed to be strong and a triangle is a very strong shape

  • I have to drop my egg from the 3rd floor of our school, I can only use basswood and rubberbands, I'm excited!

  • I need advice fast, we have to drop an egg from the top of the football stadium. But, we can only use 20 inches of tape, and 20 inches pieces of tape. any ideas? :/

  • onthy tape thats gay if u can use a balloon nad some paper and straws im droping an egg tomrrow i have a paper parashoot and the things holding it up r straws and tape and then a balloon on top for no reson it cinda slows it down but any way it in one of those cone shaped cups with card board over top me and 2 other friends made up the desin but ya it has a plat form made out of card board and straws for suport but ya this wont help but what eva

    i tryed.......

  • i hafta drop my project from the top of the football stadium(40feet) i must not be over 18 in. up or down, no compressed gasses, no waters or gelatins, no highly flammable or explosive, and no modifications, mines pretty easy, its due march 3rd, pm me what to do b4 that

  • lucky lol we have drop ours off of 7 stories, at a UCR

  • we have to drop it from the 2nd story of our school

i can only use, tin foil, straws, toothpicks, and paper cups

it may not weigh over 17 grams

    no tape or glue

    any ideas?? its due tuesday..

  • sorry if my reply is too late, i would avise you use the straws to make 4 long legs that wud absorb the bounce when it lands

  • nice

  • omg i kinda need some advice. we have to do an egg drop as a school project and we have to build a design that will protect the egg from a drop of 3 m. the smaller it is and the less it weighs, the more points we get. But the egg also has to be more than 50% visible when its attached to the design. any ideas? i have won, but im not sure if it will work.

  • why not try the same design i have done in this video but just for 1 egg so it will be smaller, use see through plastic sheet that can be bent and folded using scoring technique. it will be lightweight and the egg visable

  • Nice job. My teacher made us drop our egg off the auditorium(about 35 feet). The device had to be smaller than 15cm and he had to see and touch the egg.

  • how did you do?

  • It did fine. My egg was one of the 10 that survived.

  • A very well done to you

  • nice you can save eggs.......

3:53 deffo shoulda been a slow-mo penis in mouth

  • LOL

  • Wow dude, really nice job on the engineering. You should patent that design!

  • thanks for watching the video mark, it did take me an entire weekend in prototyping to get i just right, reflectively i spent too much time on it but got the results. there are more practicual alternatives out there for me to worry about my design being used

  • Good job.
