Yeah, good idea :-) It's got a LOT of chords in it for a beginners tune though. Stay tuned I think my year long torpor is wearing off...... Time for LUWB 9!
Find the videos really good to follow and learn tunes. I have an old Windsor Whirle Uke banjo so why dont you do a video of "When I;m cleaning windows", I'm a great G.F fan
I just bought a uke today. You're lessons are very helpful, thank you for posting them! I bought a cheap one though, I can't seem to keep it in tune long enough to play a song. Maybe some better strings will help :)
google up "Roy Cone Music" and buy some Aquila Nylgut strings for your uke. They'll give you more volume and they'll stay in tune once they've stretched (takes a bit over a week of playing / re-tuning) If you have an inexpensive uke, it may always sound a bit out of tune. This is due to poor "intonation" where the innacuracies built into the instrument couse a permanent out-of-tune sound. Anyway, give the Aquila strings a go first, only six bucks.
Hi Fella, thanks for the lessons. My Uke arrived in the post this morning. It must be a good one it was designed in Oz its an Ashton. Cost about $30 US, I'm in UK so £15. Nice to see you make some mistakes now and then gives me hope. Have tryed the guitar on and off for years but never got very far.
