Do you know why? I'm still searching for an answer; my lab (10 months) does this too, and she hasn't eaten anything for days. Just a few nibbles out of my hands. She gets PLENTY of exercise, and she's fairly lean. :( she hasn't been spayed because my dad thinks he's responsible enough to breed her, even though he doesn't care enough to wonder why she won't eat. SOMEONE HELP, I don't want to be an animal abuser (hate those bastards) for starvin my best friend :'(
from what i have read, it's all about survival, just in case they have no food in the future
