I am not sure I agree with Franco's comment in pumping iron that he was more muscular than Arnold. I also am not buying that he was stronger than Lou Ferrigno. Lou is a foot taller and at 275 lbs was a super heavyweight. At certain exercises Franco would beat Lou that I admit but if it was arm wrestling or some other kind of brute strength contest my money would be on the Hulk or on Arnold over him at least in their primes.
I bet in his prime Franco could have beaten up MIKE TYSON. At JUST BOXING tyson would win because that is his specialty but if Franco learned Judo and some other martial arts like MMA and backed those up with his almost superhuman strength then in a street fight with his more well rounded martial arts ability and strength I could see him taking on Tyson.
While I was watching this I was thinking to myself, if there was some sort of miracle cure to counter the effects of age, these would be the two people I'd give it to. Franco and Arnold.
What's up with all the best bodybuilders back then being from countries who were Axis powers in WWII? Thank God there wasn't also a Japanese bodybuilder back then.
