Also, using an interpreter is vital (especially in the Miss Universe), that way you can translate Tagalog to English and visa versa without using a third language. Now you have" English grammar-Taglish grammar-Tagalog grammar mixed up, and that does lead to lots of confusion for sure. So the only one to blame is Venus, and no one else.

I'm just wondering if she had opted to use an interpreter and tackle the Q/A part in her native tongue despite being fluent in English, would the outcome had been different? After all she would have doubled the time to think before giving an answer. I am quite sure that most contestants in this era are already well versed in English but some chose to use their native tongue to handle the Q/A part because it will give them a slight advantage in terms of time, comfort and ease.CONGRATS MS RAJ
I didnt think she said anything that bad its just that she didnt answer the question directly even though the question was vague, as what i can tell i think she said she never had any major x2 problems because she has confidence in her family and thanked William Baldwin twice and even called him sir. Claro que no! En verdad, Ireland, Guatemala, South Africa, Philippines, Jamaica, aun Colombia y Puerto Rico eran mucho mucho mas hermosas que Miss Mexico.

The world knows miss jamaica should have won, a super expert expert say her question was the hardest question for ever, her story so so sad, the unfair judge should of lived in jamaica for 18 yrs and then judging her. HER crown was denined and stolen from her. Other countrys questions was easier.

I'm just wondering if she had opted to use an interpreter and tackle the Q/A part in her native tongue despite being fluent in English, would the outcome had been different? After all she would have doubled the time to think before giving an answer. I am quite sure that most contestants in this era are already well versed in English but some chose to use their native tongue to handle the Q/A part because it will give them a slight advantage in terms of time, comfort and ease.CONGRATS MS RAJ

I didnt think she said anything that bad its just that she didnt answer the question directly even though the question was vague, as what i can tell i think she said she never had any major x2 problems because she has confidence in her family and thanked William Baldwin twice and even called him sir. She should have said it in tagalog maybe it would have sounded better with an enterpreter there. Or maybe she should have had another question asked like how does it feel to be a mail order bride?

I love her gown. I love her hair, she's gorgeous in all angle. Im pretty confident that she'll make it at least to the top 15. At pag pasok na sya sa banga tuloy tuloy na yon for sure. Kelan kaya mauubusan ng ribbon si Barraza sa paggawa ng gown? It's like flowing foil with a ribbon this time. Thanks to MVR, she carried it so gracefully... Before the prelims, I know she would be wearing silver dress, I thought it's the one she wore during her photo shoot in her weekend style video here on youtube. I'd prefer that gown than this one.
