What is it with everyone's music this season??? None of the programs I've seen this year so far grab the audience. Everyone's choosing all these complicated pieces to match their convoluted footwork sequences, but I can't even figure out what emotion most of the skaters are attempting to portray. Of course, Kozuka (unlike most of the other skaters) has the skating skills to match the complexity, but I still feel no emotion from this program. Oh well, better than his SP music at least...ugh.
@Eagle009 I love this piece of music for Kozuka. It is so suited to his style. As you said, he can handle it, but I wish the jumps were there for him. I was at the arena for this on Saturday and it's easy to see how it seems the audience wasn't grabbed by this or other skaters' music. The place was virtually empty! Only a few sections were completely filled, but there were no seats filled on the upper levels. There were lots of Kozuka fans there and they gave him a hearty ovation!
