  • annoying how there are practically no episodes of wwf superstars from this time on the internet.

  • Wasn't this when Superstars became an all-recap show?

  • When i first heard this song back in 1998 i thought he was saying "STEVE AUSTIN! THATS WHAT YOU ARE!"

YEAH! That is what i am =D

  • ¿Anyone knows where I can find a full version of this song?

  • sounds like Chris Warren

  • @Unelith

    It is him.

  • this is the same guy hwo sings dx's theme

  • Reminds me of watching this show on Sports Australia and Network Ten back in 1998.

  • too bad wwe cant use hardcore themes like that coz members of cenation will shit their pants at 0:09

  • Is there a full version of this song anywhere? I have searched high and low on the internet and no luck :( really need this :XD

  • Been looking for this theme for five years now. It was the PPV theme song for WWF Attitude.

  • @oneUNITED7SS Hell yeah. That game was awesome.

  • Sounds like a song I know ... :P

  • miss this came on Sunday Mornings

  • I remembered that I get pissed off for not waking up early to watch this on the weekend. Now I don't even care what the hell happen in Wrestling PG era.

  • "YOUUBASTAAAAARD!"

that's what I thought he was saying... :/

  • I got to see the late Attitude Era (2000-2002), cuz I'm 13, and I remember this and Metal (11:00-1:00) on Sundays on WDTN!

  • @ThomasHankyPank

Same for me, Metal and Superstars Sunday Mornings on Sky One.

  • @dillkidisback BTW, is this the guy who did the DX theme?

  • @dillkidisback WWF on Sky One, they were the days :D

  • @ThomasHankyPank how could you have seen wwf in 2000 if ur only 13...?

  • @shaun0103 i know he will only have been about 2 year old and then is not like now

  • can you upload me some episodes of superstars from the late 90's and early 00's?

  • For those PG Fans:

How about you take your precious little SuperCena, shine him up realllllllllllllllll nice, turn that son'bitch sideways, and shove it straight up your Roody Poo Candy Ass!

  • @AttitudeInHD are you ok?

  • @hellojohnny101 No. No I am not.

  • @dodgesxt Kevin Kelly is now in ROH Wrestling as the voice of the company (as far as I heard).

  • @dodgesxt yeah

  • @maddkthomaschs Did he also sing Triple H's My Time Theme? Im not sure.

  • so different with the 1st one LOL is this the singer of dx theme and hhh old theme?

  • @AristideLimIII

    yes.

  • @maddkthomaschs and No chance, my triple h/chyna I miss kevin kelly wwe sucks now, it was waaaaayyy better as WWF

  • BEST SUPERSTARS THEME

  • @maddkthomaschs and triple h 2000 solo theme

  • Oh Lord, I Used To watch superstars on USA Network and I Also Like this Song.

  • memories...

  • sounds like the same band who did the dx theme

  • @ChrisYoungGunn Cause it is. XD

  • @ChrisYoungGunn oh sweet.:)

  • Definitely my favourite Superstars intro

  • Chris Warren THE GUY WHO SINGS DX THEME AND NO CHANCE IN HELL

  • this is the theme i remember from when i was a kid. was superstars a highlight show yea?

  • @90BL3174, yes it was.

  • Aired Sunday Mornings at 10/9c On TNN

  • gawd this song is fuckin badass it gives me goosebumps awhh the memories :)

  • Alright! YEAH! This is it - Thats the superstars I remember. I'm feeling juiced up

  • THis song ROCKS MOTHERFUCKER :D:D

  • great song from Chyna !! :)

  • this NEEDS to be a current wrestler's theme really

  • what show was this theme actualy for? it was a highlights show called superstars wasnt it?

  • OMG OMG OMG!!!!! I BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR THIS!!!!!!!!

thank you! thank you! thank you!

  • I remember during the intro video, they had a shot of HBK & HHH (the original DX) doing the crossed arm hand clap towards the end. What made it stand out was that shot carried over in the video well past HBK's retirement and for the duration of its usage.

  • I remember this song. They played it between matches to show what was still to come. Also, it was on WWF Attitude on career mode before going for a title shot.

  • I believe this theme debuted right after Wrestlemania in 1998 not 1997.

  • It's too bad this theme was the only good thing about this show in the later stages of its life. By about '97 Superstars was just a recap show.

  • Is this the same group that does D-X song?

  • Chris Warren has contributed alot to WWE. Thank you for Chris , this song is awesome!

  • lol i remember when i first heard this i thought it said you busta, lol.

  • i thought it was you bast___

  • hehe, it does sound like that also, it took me to hear the song about 5 times to realize he was saying superstar, that's what you are. hehe.

  • lol ye..

i really miss the attitude era... no chain gang white rapper, no bodybuilders, no playboy models, no repettitive booking, etc

  • yea so do i. to be honest, all i knew of was WCW since it was from Atlanta and it was shown more there because i didn't have cable television that much. around the time i saw wwf, it was during the attitude era when triple h and chyna was a team but was still with DX, so he became my first favorite wwf superstar, so it was tough going back and forth hehe but i saw most of the attitude era. and true, how it is now is just more entertainment and storylines, and sexual stuff now.

  • what? No bodybuilders? No repetetive booking? Thats some memory you have,

It was the best best time for sure but everyone was juiced to the Gills (look at Kane, Taker,Rock, HBK for instance) and We had a lot of rubbish going on too..

  • well perhaps I was a bit pissed at dx winning, but i was 9 and thought wrestling was real :P

yeah, but who cares? as long as we get entertained, who cares if they die :P jus kiddin lol

  • 1997 - 2002

    The Attitude Era

  • this HAS ATTITUDE!!!

  • The USA Network is New Jersey was on Channel 42. The best episode I'd seen was when the Undertaker and Kane were fighting in the Inferno Match on Raw and the teddy bear was set on fire by the Undertaker!

  • never seen this logo for superstars. anyone here from jersey that can tell me which channal it was on. what was the setup. it says 97 but the scratch logo wasent used till early 98

  • it was on usa network sunday mornings! WWF Livewire was on Sat mornings!

  • I don't remember this version ???!!

  • If you think the ATTITUDE era was the best give me a HELL YEA!

  • i remember seeing jonathon coachman on this show talking before he was an ass

  • lol

  • They should use thhis for Superstars now.

  • I loved this theme.

  • Good morning everyone. I'm Kevin Kelly, and welcome to WWF Superstars.... classic!

  • Man this theme has ATTITUDE!!!!

  • and thats wy they used this theme during the Attitude era..no other theme would have fit in better.

  • FUCK YEAH! I remember watching this Sunday mornings!!!!

  • This theme is kick ass!!!!

  • Did Pacific Blue used to come on after this show or Livewire?

  • LMAO! This theme is classic.

  • badass

  • I remember a long ago that i use to watch this on Sky One (U.K channel). That time WWE had some good intros.

  • is this the band that made the DX theme?

  • Yes that is the DX band aka The Chris Warren Band. They made this song, Vince McMahon's theme and the DX theme.

  • and also Triple H's My Time theme

  • the dx band lol

  • "SUPERSTAARRRR!!! YEAH! THAT'S WHAT YOU ARRRRREEEEE!!!!"

Awesome. I love this theme...bought back good memories.

  • i thought wwe superstars was new?!?!!?

  • As in a new run of the show, yeah, but not a brand new WWE show. The original run of the show aired from September 1986 until October of 2001 when it was replaced by WWF Excess (ran until January 2003 overseas).

  • Hey IDIOT, WWF Superstars along with Livewire was replaced by WWF Excess in the United States in Summer 2001. However WWF Superstars continued to air Internationally, also going by the name of WWE Superstars after May 2002, until December 2002, where it was replaced by the International version of WWE Heat. Feel free to do more resaerch on this subject.

  • dillkidisback for the WIN!!!!

That's right, I remember this because this was also around the time that WWF Metal/Jakked was introduced. WWF Superstars aired in the UK until January 2003.

  • Thanks for posting this - good theme.

  • @dillkidisback Well, Superstars must be back in the UK, it is on here in 45 mins time.

  • wow! I haven't heard this in ages! Incredible!

"Hey folks, Kevin Kelly here with another edition of WWF Superstars!"

  • as a kid, I always thought they were saying YOU BASTARDS

  • You can tell just from listening to this that it was the start of the Attitude Era. This theme is just completely different than the others.

This opening was great back in 1997. Had the New Age Outlaws, Stone Cold, the original DX, etc. in the opening and it showed the WWF ring crew putting the ring together and getting it set for Raw is War.

  • The intro video was pretty good too, goes well with the song, which is nostalgically awesome. If someone could find the intro video too that would be excellent.

  • Go to daily motion and type in "WWF Superstars 1999" there is a full episode.

  • @drlax15m its by the DX BAND

  • MY FAVOURITE SONG!

  • i used to rely on superstars and livewire to see the highlights from raw, because i wasn't allowed to stay up past 9 or 10. ahh nostalgia.

  • This Song is awesome!

Everytime this show come on...I just can't wait until this song plays.

  • Well, I think they'll use this song again on "WWE Superstars", when it returns this April. And This will be the 1st Episode:

Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase vs Festus and Jesse

    Michelle McCool vs Mickie James

Finlay and Hornswoggle vs John Morrison and The Miz

    Mike Knox vs Evan Bourne

    R-Truth vs Shelton Benjamin

Mark Henry vs The Great Khali

Gotta love WWE's Returning Shows... SUPERSTARRRRRRR!!!! THAT'S WHAT YOUUUUUUU... ARRRRRRRREEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey man, what a tune its pure class!

Is there anywhere i can download this classic and monumental song?

  • Man I use to love this shit. These where the days.

  • Let the Thursday Night Wars begin!!

    WWE Superstars vs. TNA IMPACT!

    Lol.

  • it would be pathetic if WWE beats TNA with a recap show. That could be embarassing and yet funny.

  • I think it's supposed to be a live show again and it will probaly be the flagship show again.

  • as much as we'll love to see another monday night wars, it wont happen again. such magical moments can nvr be replicate.

  • oMg.....mEmorIessssssssS...!!!

  • On December 19,2008, it was announced that WWE and WGN America reached an agreement to create a new weekly, one-hour prime time series entitled "WWE Superstars" that will debut in April 2009. source wiki and various other wrestling sites.

  • wrestling sucks now and i haven't watched it in years but this was my childhood! 10am every sunday morning. love it

  • Superstars is comin back in 2009 woooooo

  • really ??!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • WWF Superstars to return as WWE superstars next year 2009

by the way Bizzaro23 kevin kelly hosted

WWF Superstars durin the attitude era and cole hosted livewire

  • realy the rock ston cold hulk hoggin !!!!!!!!!!! wow

  • Best WWF/WWE song EVER... bar none!

  • This is the DX Band right?

  • this is 'attitude' ? yelling and screaming? fuck that.

  • You smell

  • what a bizarre comment

  • What can I say, I'm a bizarre guy.

  • If you've heard Vince McMahon's Theme (No Chance in Hell), HHH's Theme (My Time), and the D-Generation-X theme, you'll find the Same Screams. Chris Warren was THE VOICE of the Attitude Era, as far as Music is Concerned.

  • the attitude era of superstars

  • damn brings back memories....

  • LMAO at the beganing

  • Do you have the actual video clip, like I don't remember if this is livewire or superstars but where they do the whole sped up arena setup thing (when Michael Cole was hosting).

Do you also know if there are any actual episodes with Michael Cole somewhere?

  • Well, I Have Been Looking For Some For 2 Years.

    No Luck Yet.

  • Wow man, alright. Thanks alot.

  • I remember getting so hyped to wake up at 10am in the morning just to listen to this song at full blast on the volume. This was the shit!!!!

  • i rember watchin supertars sunday mornin and then metal tht was the same but with a differnt title

  • oh man, this is my childhood! i've been looking for this song for years. i didn't know the DX band did it

  • man i miss these shows someone upload moving clips of them please like episodes if there are any!

  • sounds like the DX Band

  • Yep, the DX band sand this, and because this sounded good, they were brought in to do the DX theme.

  • Chris Warren then Recorded "No Chance in Hell" (Royal Rumble 1999 Theme, Vince McMahon's Current Theme) and Multiple HHH Themes (like "My Time") and "The Game" (with Music from "My Time", which in turn takes Music from another HHH theme, "Higher Brain Pattern")

  • @smoothkidd272k6

    No...

  • Oh man!! Sunday mornings at 10 AM!!!

    God I miss those days!!!

  • wwe experience filled the void but left when all the other non-main shows did in the us

  • Yeah, instead of Metal and then Superstars,

we get Afterburn and then Vintage Collection.

  • THIS IS DA SHIT!!!

  • I remember waking up on a morning and watching 1 of Livewire, Metal and Superstars before i went to school. The good old days.

  • what?? i remember this!!

  • didn't they used tis theme in the beginning of 1999??

  • yep
