I remembered that I get pissed off for not waking up early to watch this on the weekend. Now I don't even care what the hell happen in Wrestling PG era.
How about you take your precious little SuperCena, shine him up realllllllllllllllll nice, turn that son'bitch sideways, and shove it straight up your Roody Poo Candy Ass!
I remember during the intro video, they had a shot of HBK & HHH (the original DX) doing the crossed arm hand clap towards the end. What made it stand out was that shot carried over in the video well past HBK's retirement and for the duration of its usage.
I remember this song. They played it between matches to show what was still to come. Also, it was on WWF Attitude on career mode before going for a title shot.
yea so do i. to be honest, all i knew of was WCW since it was from Atlanta and it was shown more there because i didn't have cable television that much. around the time i saw wwf, it was during the attitude era when triple h and chyna was a team but was still with DX, so he became my first favorite wwf superstar, so it was tough going back and forth hehe but i saw most of the attitude era. and true, how it is now is just more entertainment and storylines, and sexual stuff now.
what? No bodybuilders? No repetetive booking? Thats some memory you have,
It was the best best time for sure but everyone was juiced to the Gills (look at Kane, Taker,Rock, HBK for instance) and We had a lot of rubbish going on too..
The USA Network is New Jersey was on Channel 42. The best episode I'd seen was when the Undertaker and Kane were fighting in the Inferno Match on Raw and the teddy bear was set on fire by the Undertaker!
never seen this logo for superstars. anyone here from jersey that can tell me which channal it was on. what was the setup. it says 97 but the scratch logo wasent used till early 98
As in a new run of the show, yeah, but not a brand new WWE show. The original run of the show aired from September 1986 until October of 2001 when it was replaced by WWF Excess (ran until January 2003 overseas).
Hey IDIOT, WWF Superstars along with Livewire was replaced by WWF Excess in the United States in Summer 2001. However WWF Superstars continued to air Internationally, also going by the name of WWE Superstars after May 2002, until December 2002, where it was replaced by the International version of WWE Heat. Feel free to do more resaerch on this subject.
That's right, I remember this because this was also around the time that WWF Metal/Jakked was introduced. WWF Superstars aired in the UK until January 2003.
You can tell just from listening to this that it was the start of the Attitude Era. This theme is just completely different than the others.
This opening was great back in 1997. Had the New Age Outlaws, Stone Cold, the original DX, etc. in the opening and it showed the WWF ring crew putting the ring together and getting it set for Raw is War.
The intro video was pretty good too, goes well with the song, which is nostalgically awesome. If someone could find the intro video too that would be excellent.
On December 19,2008, it was announced that WWE and WGN America reached an agreement to create a new weekly, one-hour prime time series entitled "WWE Superstars" that will debut in April 2009. source wiki and various other wrestling sites.
If you've heard Vince McMahon's Theme (No Chance in Hell), HHH's Theme (My Time), and the D-Generation-X theme, you'll find the Same Screams. Chris Warren was THE VOICE of the Attitude Era, as far as Music is Concerned.
Do you have the actual video clip, like I don't remember if this is livewire or superstars but where they do the whole sped up arena setup thing (when Michael Cole was hosting).
Do you also know if there are any actual episodes with Michael Cole somewhere?
Chris Warren then Recorded "No Chance in Hell" (Royal Rumble 1999 Theme, Vince McMahon's Current Theme) and Multiple HHH Themes (like "My Time") and "The Game" (with Music from "My Time", which in turn takes Music from another HHH theme, "Higher Brain Pattern")
annoying how there are practically no episodes of wwf superstars from this time on the internet.
