  • so good. just listen...

  • brilliant song. this & amazed must be their 2 best songs ever. both awesome!

  • This song is amazing

  • if i could only play 2 guitars at a time..

  • Ony of most played songs in Playlist of All My F***ing Life, along with Orgy's "Blue monday" and Nirvana's "Lithium". Inevitably reminds me "Fallout 2" game... Klamath, Modoc, Vault City, maybe NCR. I don't know why. I listen to this song and I see Wasteland...

  • I've always loved this song. The Offspring is still a great band, they don't have to be trended on twitter to be still be awesome. They're timeless.

  • b4 offspring sold out

  • whoever posted the lyrics is high totaly wrong open your ears

  • @drauss1 ehm, sorry to break it to you but these are the actual lyrics, whether you like it or not.

  • one of their best songs!!!!

  • LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOU ARE LISTENING TO THE BEST SONG IN TE WORLD.

  • Their best song.

  • does he sing "dirty magic ahhhhhhhhhhh" ??

  • @supercell42 he sings "dirty magic stoppp"

  • @jbekk34 awesome, thanks

  • Cure, meet the Offspring - now go and bear me one child which will be named Grief, one that will be named Past and one that will be named Nostalgia

  • This song reminds me of OFFSPRING!

  • show

  • MAGIA SUJA

  • This song inspired me to pick up a guitar when I was sixteen and I haven't skiped a day since. Thank you Offspring

  • @Cody111079

    now ur 17?

  • @CountRavenbeak No, I'm 21.

  • its been a long while a song did not hit me as hard as this. LUVVVV IT

  • timeless

  • This song reminds me of offspring

  • Chrysler corp has bad transmissions and engine leaks do not get one

  • Comment removed

  • the acoustic one is sooo goood too :)

  • I'D LIKE TO TELL THE WHOLE WORLD TO JUST SHUT THE F___ UP AND LISTEN !!!!!!!!!!

  • Genius is a word vastly overused for things that are merely excellent. This song however is musical genius.

  • the solo is very fleetwood mac esque

  • This song can have so many meanings. Drug use, hookers, lost realtionship, alter ego. This is one of dexters most elaborate lyrics.

  • part of this song sounds like have you ever

  • So good

  • @pantallicadeth what are you meaning?

  • I think not only do bands evolve, but also run out of ideas. So you get "Their old stuff is better than their new stuff" criticism. They can't keep writing old stuff. And how many times can you expect them to catch lightning in a bottle? Its like a hollow point hitting ballistic gelatin, it's going to do the most where it first hit. The biggest reason I like the offspring is they do go above and beyond for their fans. You have to respect that in a band these days.

  • I personally think instrumentally this is one of the best songs ever recorded it flows perfectly and has great instrument separation

  • GREAT ROCK-MUSIC

  • the song reminds me that women are just for fun

  • @tasostsirios lol considering 90% of women are crazy anymore what type of fun are u talking about?and i mean fucked in the head not in the bed.

  • i masturbate furiously to this song

  • is it just me or is this pretty much the same chorus as have you ever?

  • @presunto93 this is the offspring, you should be used to that by now

  • @presunto93 same riff or something :D anyway it sounds little bit same

  • How can a human block the comments of this song... /watch?v=azeQfmnekG4

  • this song sound like it could have been written by Kurt Cobaine, offsprings great

  • @navylaks2 Dude you're so right !!

  • Awesome, not heard this for over ten years — Got this album on a cassette somewhere in my loft!

I always thought much of this tune reminded me of the instrumental at the end of THE CHAIN by Fleetwood Mac!!!

  • @felipescotland77 yep - me too :) They're pretty similiar :)

  • this song is the sex yeah

  • i'm 24

  • The music is like from a The Cure song without any changes... very good one

  • music bands evolve as we all do. i am not the same person like i was 20 years ago and i don't care about that. i like every offspring album (ixnay on the hombre is N°1 though) and i enjoy every new stuff from them. they are simply amazing

  • @intermajki People say they become less punk, they are just becoming more skilled.

  • @Clendmike technically they are moving away from punk....and you basicly said it your self by saying they are getting more skilled.....punk rock was simple...which is why many garage bands can be considered punk rock :P

  • @zimplexify Yeah, they kinda are. I pretty much like all their music except for the last album which was.... ok. There are a couple listenable songs like Shit is Fucked Up, but idk, it's kinda boring compared to their previous work. I like both their old and new stuff... Ignition, Ixnay, Americana, Splinter had some good hits. They're working on a new album.... I'll keep an eye out but I have a feeling they're getting washed up

  • @TheEric1203 .......How could you list Ignition, Ixnay, splinter and americana, but forget to mention SMASH? That's blasphemous!

Personally, I loved all their stuff up to and including Conspiracy, but Rise And Fall was a huge disappointment. Bad lyrics, monotonous sound... compared to their previous work the record really sucked. Still love them for all they did up to then, though, and also I'm still hoping that Rise And Fall will remain a single slip.

  • @DancingInChains I figured you'd assume that I like Smash. Dont get me wrong, i fucking love it. Suppose I should have mentioned that of all albums but I didn't wanna come across as one of those people who dont know farther back. Im with you on Rise and Fall, crossing my fingers that this one is listenable. I can put up with Kristy, Are You Doing Okay for 1 soft song because thats a real heartfelt one and its understandable that he'd wanna write that. But we need all the "hey"s and "oh"s back

  • @TheEric1203 Exactly.I couldn't agree more with you.

".. But we need all the "hey"s and "oh"s back"

  • @cerenthekoala right, thats dexters signature! Gives it that nice 90s atmosphere.

  • @zimplexify Green Day still has punk lyrics althought rise and fall rage and grace there were no punk lyrics

  • @zimplexify That's why I write no more than 6 chords in my riffs

  • @intermajki i didn't like ixnay that much. me and my old lady was my favorite from that album. i like splinter, every song is good on there(when your in prison is kinda weird though)

  • @intermajki dont pick it up"!!! lol

  • @intermajki I'm with you on the notion that Everythign the Offspring does is great, but I'm gonna have to say Splinter wins.

  • @intermajki so youre just a fan boy.......... their new shit pretty much sucks cock and has sucked since americana (some shit off that was good).

  • @SludgePunkGrunge you are joking, right? every single album is unique and has its own great songs. These guys know what they are singing about ;)

  • @intermajki of course they know what they are singing about they wrote the song ya moron. and no I am no joking their albums recently have sucked majorly.

  • It's not even close I don't know what song you're listening to.

  • This song is so much fun to play

  • Great thing, can't stop play this on guitar.

Don't know why, but this song inevetably reminds me "Fallout 2" game :)

  • this guy f...ing blows this riff is a clear ripoff of chained by fleetwood mac

  • 8 flwroi

  • @tasostsirios ginan 10 twra :D

  • FUCKING PERFECT!

  • I feel like these guys should have pulled a White Stripes and quit before they started to suck, leaving us with four or so great albums.

  • @DarthKrattus i agree completely.

  • Dude i loooooove that song!!!

  • This song is so cool, the start reminds me of something The Cure would do. It's awesome.

  • why doset this have more views such an unoticed but brilliant song

  • If they ever released only one song, Dirty Magic, they would be still my favorite band.

  • I used to skateboard to school while listening to this on my sony walkman that was the size of a brick. This is my shit.

  • nirvana, the offspring - best bands ever

  • Where did my comment go? Don't know

So, Hi, I didn't know so many people liked this song so much. It's one of my favourites. That's why I made a cover of it. I hope for those who watch it that they like it!

Great song, it can pull me down

  • best offspring song ever!

  • el mejor disco de the offspring

  • NIRVANA

  • This song reminds me of Nirvana.

  • @xxn00bhunterxx me too :D

  • @xxn00bhunterxx Holy shit i was about to leave the exact same comment O.o freaky

  • @xxn00bhunterxx

this intro reminds me of scanners, salvation. :P

  • @xxn00bhunterxx Nirvana reminds me The Offspring.

  • @xxn00bhunterxx

i know where ur coming from... i think its the intro kind of sounding like come as you are...

  • @xxn00bhunterxx i agree but saw them performing this live at least a year b4 Nevermind was released in 91. I think there was just an early 90's fusion of sounds which just propelled some amazing bands forward that i still listen to today!!

  • @xxn00bhunterxx Agreed! And that's why I love it so much....

  • @xxn00bhunterxx reminds me of REM.

  • @xxn00bhunterxx Come as you are

  • @xxn00bhunterxx reminds me a bit of nirvana and tsol.

  • great song fuckin awesome

  • The chorus sounds like it inspired "have you ever"

  • This song is about a guy's infatuation with an exotic dancer.

  • ..This song sounds so creepy played in acoustic xD...it's kinda creepy anyhow...it's about a guy who wants to get inside a girl but can't because she's innocent...I like it though

  • @TheSpontaneousWonder

i think thats what want you bad is about

  • @WLjust4comments7M It is. They ended up writing two songs about screwing innocent people xD

  • Back from when this band still had a soul.

  • i don't know this might be their best song and still many people don't know about it.

  • @0live0wire0 because it was on their first album and even their biggest fans like I,

didn't know they had albums even in the 80's I wish they would play like this again they've only made something this good once oh and they are as good in concert as in their cd's I saw them with sum41

  • SO much better than thier future immatrue sounding crap like get a job and pretty fly....what happened to them?!

  • @rhaydon6784 If you research, or remember the scene back then, they TOLD us that they were gunna take the money and run, and that we should not take any of it serious, and that THIS is their work... That is what happened, and i have never critisized them for it either.

This is proof enough, stands on its own, and is enough for me... i dont need them to make me feel better, they are not some kind of musical slave, whipped for my entertainment, right?

I only hope you got to know old Offspring.

  • This is a very good music. I love this...

  • offspring never dies

  • Best music memories... skate, surf and shit

  • I like "Ignition" more than "Smash" and "Americana"

  • thanks for uploading this

  • Sound like Nirvana

  • @TheAster888 Actually, Nirvana sounds like The Offspring. Nirvana formed in 1987, The Offspring in 1984. Either way they are both awesome.

  • @thetube63 nice i didn't know that still ya they are both awesome

  • @thetube63 offspring FORMED earlier than Nirvana but the offspring didn't adopt the grungy sound until ignition came out in 1992. Nirvana had the grungy sound ever since their single love buzz came out in 1988.

  • @TheAster888

yeah totally, also a song on ixnay on the hombre is so nirvana. When he starts to sing it even sounds a bit like Cobain - I think it was Amazed

  • This was my soundtrack in high school. Everyone was listening to Nirvana back then but I was different. Today I can still enjoy this album.

  • @fredrik999z yeah and today no1 listens to nirvana or offspring, and we who do listen don't think we're different >.>

  • @hellscream445

nirvana is huge! and offspring is pretty big still to,you sir. are crazy

  • music like justin bieber will always be popular but it remains shit, this kind of music is not that popular but it lasts forever

  • @MrAkwowking87 maybe if people didn't try to get thumbs up on comments by making fun of justin bieber he'd be forgotten quicker. you're bringing as much attention to him now as wearing a shirt with his name on it dude.

  • Wow. I am 29 years old and this is the first time I have heard this song. Where was I back then???? Good tune, great album.

  • @numetal334 funny how a song can bring back memories and exactly what you felt at that time...

  • haven't listened to this song in ages....what a great song!

  • One of the greatest bands of all time, it all just seems like such a waste.

  • this is still good

  • this song sounds great live

  • THIS WAS THE TIME WHEN U COULD CALL THIS MUSIC NOW DAYS ITS SHIT FUCK JUSTIN BEIBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @JakeEmerica

There both good (Justin and Offspring)

  • Their old albums are their real music, now they just makin money.

  • @ryanexsus yeah they're like the only band besides nofx to put out a halfway political album. you're crazy.

  • dont let the emo kids find this one

  • @lancerralliartist hahaha

  • @lancerralliartist fuck the emos keep it from the hipsters! they'd think it's cool because everyone knows the new albums now.

  • @lancerralliartist right =) thumbs up ^^

  • @lancerralliartist 8 of them allready did :(

  • @lancerralliartist emotional hardcore is a subganre of punk, so emo kids have found this song let me tell you

  • @zergb0ng well i think it is safe to say they are too ignorant, trendy, and genre facilitated to discover some of offspring and NiN. they dont like anything that is 10 minutes or more old. they are fucked for life in the area of taste and style. rightfully so.

  • Only good from this band. Sounds like The Cure; that's why...

  • @alexmejia26 You can't have listened more than a song or two from the Offspring to make a such statement.

  • @alexmejia26 wrong, sounds much more like Nirvana (the vocals too) + they have many good songs like this one

  • this is sorta the same kinda tune as come as you are

  • can't stop listening to it.

  • reminds me of a time i used to go to a basement with my friends and a beer, and listen to punk rock. Now i only have my problems.

  • this looks a lot like vultures. (both very good b.t.w)

  • Classic.

Personally, brings me back to my childhood, a time where I didn't really understand The Offspring's music. A time when I wasn't aware of how fucked up life can be.

  • Because I love Ignition so much I f**k it.

  • My list of albums they made

    1. Ignition

    2. Self-titled

    3. Smash

    4. Ixnay on the hombre

    5. Americana

    6. Co1

    7. rafrag

    8. Splinter

  • Une des meilleure sinon la meilleure d' Offspring.

    Pas besoins d'autres commentaires => écouter !!!

  • this is their best song

  • ive heard this song on the radio but not the same lyrics.Some1 ripped it off?

  • tune

  • клас

  • oh wow, does this take me back! holy shit!

  • Aside from all their other music, this one stands out...amazing song they need more songs like this not songs like "kristy are you okay" theyre ok now but i miss the punk Offspring

  • OMG SOOO RELAXING, awesome song

  • these are my favorite albums from The offspring:

The offspring, ignition, smash, ixnay on the hombre, americana, conspiracy of one, orange county, splinter, greatest hits, rise and fall rage and grace,

I think many of you agree

  • I remember having this album and jamming to it back in Junior High School. It still rocks to this day, but hearing it so long after now I hear Dexter's lyrics more and now I really understand what he was trying to say.

  • What makes The Offspring punk? Who cares for punk?

  • Master piece. * * * * *

  • It's not that I like that song. I just LOVE IT! The Offspring RULE :)

  • Only Ignition.

  • I can never decide what offspring album is best . They are all epic with splinter and Rise and fall at the bottom. But the Noose and half truism are epic tunes.

  • @mmtot rise and fall it's not so bad. or maybe because I'm more open to different subgenres inside rock and pop.

  • the offsprin offspring, ignition, smash & ixnay.

  • @internationaltribu I'm always surprised to see "Ixnay on the Hombre" at the top of many people's lists. Sure there a few great tracks such as "Gone Away" on it but it also contains some of their worst such as "Me and My Old Lady", yuck. It also didn't sale nearly as well as Smash before it or Americana that followed it.

  • @ArcticSlicer Me and my old lady is one of their weaker tracks, though the graphic lyrics don't bother me. and true, Ixnay is one of their weaker albums. But sales is not a good indicator of quality, IMAO. Britney Spears has sold tons of albums, doesn't mean she's a good or talented musician...

  • @RazelG I never really much cared for it as an "album". With "Ignition", "Smash" and "Americana" I can put the album in the CD player and let it play but with "Ixnay on the Hombre" I found myself skipping around because there were too many tracks I really didn't care for. Many people refer to it as the "Gone Away" album for a cause; and that's because there is really only one stand out track on the album while the rest varies from mediocre to bad.
