you can make it up the ladder at about 1:40 even though it is electrified, it takes full health and lots of speed but can be done with the button hopping speed roflzwaflz possess at this time. I am sad he didn't use the ladder, it would have made it go faster but then again, the Gman opening the door may be triggered by a delay of the event, instead of an OnStartTouch trigger when you are at a certain area above the acid filling electrified room

Go to Options, select the Keyboard tab, click the "Advanced" button and tick the "Fast weapon switch" box. This way, for an example, if you hit 2, you will equip the pistol instantly, if you hit 2 twice, you will equip the Desert Eagle, and so on. You just don't need to click the mouse button when you press the number for a weapon, it switches instantly :)

To bunny hop, just do this in the speed of how landing time and gravity works: Jump up, and just as you jump, move your mouse a bit to the right and hold strafe right. When you're about to hit the ground, move your mouse back to normal look and JUST AS YOU HIT THE GROUND, hit the jump button and in the air quickly look a bit to the left, and hold strafe left as well, and just before you hit the ground center your look again, hit space as soon as you hit it, look right, hold strafe right, so on.

However you don't have to start at the right side, you can start at the left side, then go to the right side, then go back to the left side, as so on. You will keep building up speed and going faster jumping as long as you don't stop doing it. After your first side jumps, make sure to look a bit to left/right when you do it a bit more far, and so on, but don't look to the left/right too far or you will end up slowing down. It's a bit tricky to do at first, but just practice in an empty server.

However, on speed demos archive Blake stated that he used scripts sometimes. You can bunny hop just like in the video without scripts, but you need a LOT of practice and experience. The way how he uses scripts is that in a simple push of a button, he can do all the looking and jumping he has to do in order to bunny hop around, and that way he can concentrate a lot easier on how to move around in order not to hit boxes and walls while doing it.

Communications are down in black mesa so some guys still think the soldiers are here to help them thats why otis at the begining says summat like 'hey i heard rumors you guys might not actually be here to help us' but the players osprey gets shot down and knocks him out before he can get any orders so its pretty much up to you wether or not you want to shoot them
