LTC Quinby. I remember you well. Great to see your rank. I got out as a Major in 2009. I have 3 videotapes from that jump. Seck and Ogorman are FB friends with me.
I'm not on FB. I remember Seck very well, good troop. Hope all is well. Don't remember Ogorman. Ever hear from Halasz? Never was able to get a hold of him. Got about a year and a half before I can retire, we'll see if I get a Battalion Comand or not. Been a hell of ride though, 2 tours to Iraq, Korea, all over the US. Best of luck to you. Pass along my best.
I was there for this jump! Keep trying to find myself in the background. Coyle DZ in Lakehurst if I'm not mistaken. Now here I am 19 years later a LTC in active duty now serving in XVIII Airborne Corps with 8 jumps to go until I get my wreath! AIRBORNE! Thanks for posting.
Do you remember our Supply Sgts name? All I can remember is that,I think it was a Latino name. For the life of me I cannot remember-shit comes and goes in my mind :P
Yep,remember him, but I for some reason thought it was spelled different? Time'll do that.
Do you know where we can get our unit coin at? Lost mine due to a (now ex) fiancee who threw all my stuff away.sold it,or gave it away while I was deployed and shacked up with someoother dude while i was gone, and the only things I cant replace is,the coin, and, strangely enuff, the 50th AD SSI, and the scroll we had made. I cant remember where either was done at.
I was there for this, and remember it like it was yesterday, I wish so much they would re-activate this unit. Out of all units I have derved in,this remains my favorite. I wish I knew where LT Cliff, and "The mad Gernan" were, along with the rest of you guys...I lost touch, and all numbers due to a deployment, and ex fiancee throwing all my stuff away,or selling it...my phone /contact book was among those thrown away. I wish all you 150th Inf Det (LRS)(ABN) guys well-mite see ya'll one day. ABN!
