god thats so confusing man!!!!!!!!!!!! its got helen mirren chris jayne and some other bloke great comp if i knew what the hell is going on LMAO i think its a well out together comp fair does but PLEASE EXPLAIN

although i think you have had to have watched the film to follow it maybe a bit better LOL

Helen mirren's character is scared for her life etc coz the guy at the beginning who dies was a close friend and she knows that she'll be next (even though it's not like that in the film) and her friends and Jayne and Chris are really just emphasising that through their dances and expressions. if this has confused you even more i do apologise and please do ask me again...LOL

oh and it was sorta angsty on jayne and chris' part coz it was looking at it like they had missed their chances and opportunitues of being together (even tho we all still wish...or hope that they are or will!)

and i think it also stemmed from the fact that i had just found out i was going to uni and it scared me having to go that far away from home, i heard this song... and well i just made the video..LOL! x

helen mirren is jayne torvill, and the dead bloke is christopher dean. the ice skating is a flashback. but who are the other people with helen mirren??? thats what i dont get.

yes you are right jayne torvill does represent the painted lady character that helen mirren plays but i think my intention was just to make it general, the scared aspect is really emphasisng all the bad in the film painted lady and how Helen's character is scared so TnD are representing that and all the other people in painted lady is sort of...irrelevant. i hope this makes sense, LOL

Love the song (a lot!--this is the first place I'd heard it and I immediately went and found it), and love the video (as I have all of yours). This is bloody brilliant! Your tributes to HM always rekindle my admiration for her. By the by.... Is it just me, or does this song make anyone else think of Dame Helen's character in The Clearing? That would be fab! Her character in The Clearing--there's basically just a load of "Robert-Redford's-been-kidnapp­ed" angst going on. I don't know why, but I picture a lot of scenes from that film when I hear this song.
