  • Awesome video. I assume your image in the viewfinder is flipped when using the DIY 35mm adapter? How much of a pain was it getting accustomed to that?

  • this video somehow reminds me of europe:)

  • i have a canon gl2,

i want this look (the whole focusing look like you have here)

    how can i get it.

    with the 35 mm adapter?

  • haha hey its the guy from In Bloom =]

  • I'm replacing my homemade gg with a canon ee-a and I was just wondering what type of focusing screen you were using in the video. My home made gg is way too dark. But this video isnt dark at all for taking place indoors. I presume you didnt set up lights? So what brand/type of focusing screen did you use? Thanks.

  • No i didn't use any lights. In this video i used the canon ee-a screen. Although i have found that the canon ee-s is better. It has better bokeh, its brighter, and sharper.

Your best bet is definitely the canon ee-s

  • Alright thanks a lot.

  • your style of filming is really refreshing to watch :)

    i enjoyed it

  • ha that last kickflip on the end chord was synced so good.

love the vibe of this video

its kind of like the last people left no earth

    fuck it, lets skate

  • Another great video. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do this spring. Hopefully some more longboarding. Keep it up.

  • nice. sweet editing

  • was that a priest at the end ahaha

  • what an interesting place to skate, great footage ... the snow capped chairs is soo errie genious ahah

  • thanks man, sounds sweet.

  • Lovekyordie already asked, and it be time consuming but I think a lot of people are wondering how you make your 35mm adapter. What did it cost you to build the one you use in this video?

  • Ya i'm going to make a video tutorial in about a week or so, busy at this week, but look for one soon

  • do you make your own 35mm adapters?

I loved the video awesome work, I'm a big fan of your long boarding videos.

  • ya i do, and thanks

  • more longboarding vids!

  • going to when i come home in march. I wish i could here at school but theres too much snow...

  • dont really know why but im really feelin that short vid

  • i feel like your older adapter was more clear.. maybe it was some postproduction that made them better.

  • which vids would you be comparing this to, cuz almost every vid is a different adapter lol. I would agree tho, i dont like this ground glass, gonna try some other stuff.

  • hah wow i didnt realyize that! i think your warm longboarding videos are some of your best work, and your video of the guy who commited suicide, the picture quality and depth of field was amazing on that. you should make a tutorial on making a 35mm adapter. i just bought a sony hdr fx7 and am really interested in making a simple and cheap adapter.

  • ya those videos i used a custom made ground glass i got from this guy, but the glass requires extra optics, I think i may try it in this new adapter, i would just have to get a new glass fitted. Its confusing....

Anyway, ya i think i'm gonna work on making a tutorial because a lot of people have been asking lately. Pretty busy this week but cheek my youtube in a week or so and one should be up.

  • amazing video. Im dying to get a 35mm or my XH A1

  • That was sweet man. I wish I could skate in Ann Arbor in the snow :(

  • nice haha long time no vid

    looks awsome!
