I think some people are missing the point when it comes to comparing Jazzy Jeff and Q. Jazzy Jeff is an excellent show DJ and any one who knows shit about turntablism will tell you that. Jazz brought the transformer scratch to the scene before mixer manufacturers had even thought of supplying curve control on crossfaders. He used the line switch. DJ's like Q wouldn't be who they are today if it wasn't for pioneers like him to give them inspiration.
Jazzy Jeff is never ever sloppy. He invented the transformer scratch and you really shouldn't be disrespecting him. Q-bert is heavily influenced by Jeff as soooo many DJ's are. You really need to go back to school.
