my cat always bites me whenever i try to look at his teeth but it doesnt hurt... well sometimes it does. want to see him? type in Funny Kitty pinkhorse1112 and watch my weird cat!
Thanks for the video, it's useful to see it on a newbie. I have been trying to get my cat accustomed to having his teeth brushed - twice a day for almost two months now! He still squirms and tries to push my hand away with his paws, which he can do with surprising force. His front teeth are now clean, but his rear teeth still have heavy plaque and gingivitis. How can I get him to be more accepting of the tooth brushing so I can reach those? Even with plain water on the brush he struggles.
@abcgavrochette I never knew that you had to brush a cat's teeth until my vet said one of my cats had some plaque buildup.
My cat absolutely refuses to do it the easy way, so the only way for me to do it is to flip him on his side and keep him pressed against the couch and my leg (not hurting him, of course, but just enough to get him to submit for a few seconds).
I then flip him again and do the other side.
I give him a cat treat after so he doesn't hate me for it.
That does not seem that bad I will have to try and brush my cats teeth . I got the ear cleaning since my youngest indigo seems to need it every couple of days
