@fluxieome The initial cleansing helps keep the lace frontal on because it removes oils, makeup and other substances that can stop the glue adhesion. Lace wigs do not stick when oil is around.

@Rachelsc26 When wearing adhesive glue, most people prefer Ultrahold Glue, the manufacturer says 6 week hold time. Most people forget about their natural hair because the lace wig looks so natural, but it is recommended to take the wig off at least every 2 weeks so that you may wash and care for your natural hair.

But some people love them because it allows them to change textures, colors, and styles without damaging their natural hair. Most IMPORTANTLY because lace wigs are not like other wigs, and they actually look like the hairs are growing out of the scalp.
