Seriously, if you guys think Green Day is like Simple Plan, Yellow Card, Fall Out Boy, Good Charlotte, and all those other mainstream 'punk rock' bands - you're absolutely wrong.

Those assholes are jocks where as Green Day members were never. They're on the right side. The majority of their songs which are hardly ever played today in cellphones have so much influence from the Ramones, the Beatles, the Who, and other classic punk bands. And yes, simple drumming - no sell-out hip hop shit.
