Bonded rounds are crap,if you are looking for deeper penetration,just us a FMJ.And using denim is retarded..its only a good test if you're plaining on shooting someone in the leg! The use of ONE sheet of cotton on both sides of the target is good,that reps a T-shirt,and that is wear you wanna shoot someone,is in the torso.

Anyone with even a minimal understanding of ballistics knows that hollow points are safer, they decrease the chance of pass-through and also cause more tissue damage through the expanded diameter.

It was barley exploded and was smooth instead of jagged and sharp in other words that is gonna go threw someone who weighs 170 pounds with 34 inch waste anyways unless your so lucky to hit the thickest part of the body and hit the bones.

I have never seen it in a gun shop, but the local gun shows usually produce a few boxes of "'LEO" ammo. They are usually the first to go, and at top dollar. That has been the source of what I have purchased in the past.

Do you guys have to get a firearm/handgun permit in Oz? Is it from location to location? I was under the impression that firearms, especially handguns, are hard to come by for the common man in Australia.

Nah, join a gun club and you're set. Wait 6 months and you can buy some guns, but there are some regulations such as 120mm barrel for semiauto 100mm for revolvers and a cap of 10 rounds. Up to .38 caliber unless you get another permit and you need permits to buy firearms and a licence to buy ammo, but not cases or bullets, just primers and powder.

Handgun licence is different to rifle. Still a lot of stupid laws, but it's relatively easy to acquire a firearm legally.
