Edge called the reverse leg r. leg sweep the downward spiral. I really don't give a fuck. But the flatliner, I've heard flat liner powerbomb years before. So wrestling moves have interchangable names. Is it really worth a debate.
Do some research, homeboy. I can't find any reputable soources that call Mortis' Super Samoan Drop anything other than The Flatliner, going back so far as to the video where he debuted the move, where the announcers clearly say that it's the Flatliner, the other one commenting incredulously about it being a Samoan Drop.
Steiner didn't start using the Reverse STO as the Flatliner untill 2002, Blood Runs Cold was in 1997. Like it, or not, the Original Flatliner was a Super Samoan Drop.
O.k. so this is off topic but I think you guys know your wcw wrestlers. Do you remember the name of a wrestler in the wcw that always had question marks on his comstume, sort of strong looking, and used the moonsault as his signature move?
Actually, this is NOT the original Flatliner... this move was called the DOA, Dead On Arrival and was only used when Kanyon was Mortis, the Flatliner was and always will be the Russian Legsweep.
RIP Kanyon

Yes, it is. That was the original version of the Flatliner. It wasn't until later on that he changed it to the reverse russian legsweep.
