  • ¡MAGNIFICO!

  • Really good live cover by Jan. Especially with the Monserrat Caballe parts, wow.

  • i am not surprised that Queen considered him as a replacement for freddie mercury, he was equally as charasmatic and his voice was just as powerful :)

  • now i know why espen, loved him so,,took my breath away

  • very very very very exellent!

  • No doubt in my mind that God took this man to early from us left behind just so he could hear him sing every day... Awesome.

Take care of your audience in heaven Jan Werner

  • Vart ikke Jan Werner spurt om å overta for Freddie i Queen? et rykte e har hørt?

  • Se paa profilen min under "Jan Werner om Queen ryktene"

  • BRA SKIT!!!

  • Sing*

    All*

  • wow. I never tought anyone else than Freddie could wing this song with al the high notes. Jan Werner is good, but i didn't think he was this good. but obviously he is:)

  • great performance from a truly brilliant singer

  • hey kafamiraculous.

Jan Werner hits the exact same note at 2.09 :)

    SÅ DET SÅ

  • REMEMBERJAN, DID JAN EVER DO LOVE OF MY LIFE by QUEEN.

  • jan shys away from the high notes on "Por ti ser‚ gaviota de tu bella mar". he has a great voice, but no one touches Freddie.

  • this is a man worthy to do a barcelona cover .. no rip for you Jan; see ya in heaven

  • Jan Werners' vocal range was 4 octives And Freddies' was 4 1/2. At one stage Brian May concidered him as possibbly covering some Queen tracks because of his range. Both where fantastic singers in there own right

  • I actually think it's the other way around; Freddie with 4 and JW with 4 1/2. Listen to JW do Pie Jesu, then tell me his voice spans over less than 4 1/2. :)

  • I agree with RememberJan.

  • Actually, both their official websites pegs them both to a 4... so they had more or less the same vocal range! While I still prefer Freddie over Jan Werner, JW was still one of the most amazing singers I've ever had the pleasure of hearing live. I'm glad I got to hear him sing live before he died!

  • "Official information" isn't necessarily "correct information". As his manager stated: 'Don't believe everything you read - even when it's on his official site.' Indeed...

  • Still, if they had to lie about something... why would they pick their vocal range? I'll stick with what's posted there.

  • Depends who asserted the vocal range, really, and how professional that individual was. Did they say "Ah, about four I reckon" or "He has a range from xx to xx". That's the question.

  • no one sing this song like Freddie.

  • I would loved to have heard him sing it with Montserrat! He does a wonderful job on this.

  • GREAT

  • Hi, was this done after the "Beat for Beat" preformance ? Thank you very much for sharing this :)

  • I don't actually know where or when it was recorded, but I did hear that he did it on Beat for Beat. Not sure if this is the same version though :)

  • This one is actually different arrangement with orchestra -- actually the "Beat for Beat" version is better and much more powerful :) I remember Tommy said that they might ad this in their show, so that is why I wondered if this is a recording after that TV program. :)
