Ever seen the one by Mariah Care? There are several on YouTube, look up Mariah Carey Oh Holy Night Live. If you think this is American kitsch you have got a screw loose and are blinded by silly anti- Americanism. Look, I love Helene she has an angelic presence and a gorgeous voice, but as Martinator69 remarked the German lyrics are atrocious. Look up "O Holy Night"in Wikipedia. It is the French Hymn "Cantique de Noel". The English version that you normally hear is an 1855 translation of same.
