The Xbox 360 slim is the best out of all the xbox 360's. I use to own an Arcade back in 2008 but it RRoD'd after a year. the 360 slim is perfect though, Runs alot quieter, smoother, I've had my 360 slim for over a year now and its still running perfectly. I'm sure todays Arcade versions are good though.

@raid4r51 i can answer ur question. 1. No if u want to play online you have to buy a Wifi adapter. and yes, u can use a ethernet cabel too. 2. like this guy said in the video, its more than enouch if ur a gamer.

@crislovercar if it is a new arcade model you will need a 203w if it's a old arcade model you will need a 103w and yes you can upgrade the memory with a 250gb hdd
My brother bought a used xbox 360 arcade... he only bought the console.. with no AC Power Supply, and i am curious what kind of watt does the arcade need? i google search and it showed that they have 203watt, 135watt and so on..and other thing is that I believe it a 253 MB (i don't know.. can I change it to a new 250 GB
@krislovercar Don't listen to Elite, he doesn't know anything, you have to look at the sticker at the back of your 360, if it says 16V then it need 203W, if it is 14V you need 175W but you can use 203W, if it is 12V you need 150V but you can use 175W and 203W
there is a few more and that is that the insides are alot different from arcade to pro to elite elite is the most simple console on the insides pro has a lot of heat sync's aka 3 and arcade idk but i assume there is a small hard drive in there. :)

@mustin2010 the only difference of them is that elite and slim xbox 360 upgraded their hard drive space and fixed red ring of death. the pro/arcade have 20gb/60gb hard drive space

Arcade: Good for just low quality games and if you dont have many games to play.
Pro: Great for 4 games that are high quality (Check your tv and if you have holes that are green blue and red next to your yellow white blue then get it)
Elite: Good for a lot of games and playing for a long time without turning off.
The best in my opinion is the PRO because on gamestop it is only 99 dollars.

My first Xbox was the Arcade. I found out a year of XBLA would cost $50, a WiFi attachment $80, a game other than the two lame ones it came with $60, and it had enough memory for five games. $400 was the 'cheapest' way to enjoy what the 360 had to offer at the time. If the Arcade wasn't the biggest "fuck you" from Microsoft, the Xbox 360 'Slim' sure is. Two years later, my Arcade sits in the living room collecting dust while I play with my PS3 in my room.
I have an elite and its really quiet and really fast. But the the thing that sucks about the 1st generation of the Xbox 360 is that now in 2011 they are getting really slow and crash a lot.My friend has the first Generation and he had to turn his xbox on and off like 5 times to play a game. But I have I dont think ill have those problems any time soon :).

my 360 arcade is jasper, made on 9/10/08 and i bought it on 12/24/08, a 3 year old console still fully functional. never got red ring of death and, it fell once at a hight of about top first and still works, there was 2 problems with my 360. my DVD drive BenQ had about 11 disc read errors but it started to work within a few taps on the top of the 360 and, and the tray would be unable to open because of the rubber band thats moved the tray, so i replaced the rubber band and it works fine now xD

@EastCoastsRecords listen good ,the xbox still xbox ^_^ the core was bad because it doesn't support HDMI. the slim is just a revision ,it's smaller ,black ,a little bit quit but the graphics still the same ,& the red ring still exists.if u have elite or arcade then u don't need an upgrade. that's all what you need to hear .take care

@vlastimilsimkoenglan the only one defferent is that elite came up with a hard drive & the arcade came up just with a memory card to save your games (and you can of caurse buy hard drive for it). both have same graphics ,both have HDMI ,both have LIVE (online) ,it's SAME EVERYTHING ^_^ ,(elite/arcade/pro) are just names of the packs, so when u buy a pack you get extra features ,arcde means no features just the console, and elite means the console + hard drive.

@CRYmasyny actually they only bought out elite because so people will not always get red ring but it failed so the bought out slim with kinnet and on slim you can't get red ring

My first Xbox was the Arcade. I found out a year of XBLA would cost $50, a WiFi attachment $80, a game other than the two lame ones it came with $60, and it had enough memory for five games. $400 was the 'cheapest' way to enjoy what the 360 had to offer at the time. If the Arcade wasn't the biggest "fuck you" from Microsoft, the Xbox 360 'Slim' sure is. Two years later, my Arcade sits in the living room collecting dust while I play with my PS3 in my room.

yes u can do everything with arcade but cant play online untill you by a hardrive than you can also play xbox games so it becomes the same as pro

I had to purchase the Memory harddrive seperate. Mine never came with any Arcade game. And I can't play Xbox games on the system.

I have an elite and its really quiet and really fast. But the the thing that sucks about the 1st generation of the Xbox 360 is that now in 2011 they are getting really slow and crash a lot.My friend has the first Generation and he had to turn his xbox on and off like 5 times to play a game. But I have I dont think ill have those problems any time soon :).

my xbox jasper still working for 2 1/2 years. i love it even though i have a ps3. im expecting my jasper to last for ten years like my ps2 did. it is the cooler version of all xbox360. on my opinion. bcz its never over heated. my ps3 its like a nuclear reactor i can feel the heat when im close to it. i love both of my console. there are amazing. xbox jasper aka: the snow / ps3 aka: the sun

my 360 arcade is jasper, made on 9/10/08 and i bought it on 12/24/08, a 3 year old console still fully functional. never got red ring of death and, it fell once at a hight of about top first and still works, there was 2 problems with my 360. my DVD drive BenQ had about 11 disc read errors but it started to work within a few taps on the top of the 360 and, and the tray would be unable to open because of the rubber band thats moved the tray, so i replaced the rubber band and it works fine now xD
