@VivaLaNick335 i have a 2012 135I with the M sport package.... this car is not only a head turner... it is a dream to drive. nimble and quick.... and it does well into the 150MPH range.
135i - for younger boys/men (20-35yo) with a slightly less budget but still prefer some luxury
335i - for men (30-50+) with more cash to spare and want more features and comfort.
over all, both have speed, grunt, and that awesome feel when driving. Forget the specs, both cars are amazing. I love my 135i and enjoy driving it just for fun - not just to get from a to b - Maybe after 5 to 10 years I may upgrade to 335i when I have a bigger family.

@Tari14 mine 330i isnt stock. I raced 135i. We came down from a ramp on a straight mile road. I hit it hard on manual. I was doing like 120mph and he was still behind 30 yards catching up inch by inch. He end up giving up, 'cose he could not shit over me. there is only 60hp difference. All I need is a hard jump and 135 will not shit on me. Even from a stand still he might only have a car on me not like shit on me.

All it is roughly 50hp. 135 is uglier, comes with less luxury and is a cheaper car. So what you should of done is to trade your 330i on to 335i instead or an E46 M3. I rather give up 50hp and get the wood trim dash with nice leather instead of this plastic rubbish 135i interior. 1 series is 1 series

@66AGW 335i is just a fast daily driver's car. It is only as fast as e46 M3 on a straight line , but as the road get's twisted 335 falls behind. e92 M3 will destroy 335 in any conditions .
I would buy any of them any day. E46 M3s can be easily obtained now so to compare those to a top of the line 3series predecessor thats almost 10yrs old I would say BMW got the job done.

Yep, 135 is fractionally quicker b/c of its lighter weight, but it's cramped and with little storage, despite the report saying it's as comfortable as the 335. I'll take my 335i any day for drive-ability.
Problem with the 135i is you pull it out the garage to wash it on a Sunday, take one look and push it back 'cos it's just so damn ugly. Then you go inside and wonder why you never bought the M3.

the g37 made the 335i stumble. the g37 made the twin turbo inline six overheat and go into limp mode. g37 did not overheat and makes better hp and a nicer sound.

@pcpenn46 I didn't say 330i is faster. Clearly it is not. 135i comes with 300hp and 330i only has 240+- 10 depends on pulleys and intake. All I said, that the difference is not that big. All it is roughly 50hp. 135 is uglier, comes with less luxury and is a cheaper car. So what you should of done is to trade your 330i on to 335i instead or an E46 M3. I rather give up 50hp and get the wood trim dash with nice leather instead of this plastic rubbish 135i interior. 1 series is 1 series

135 is a faster, cheaper, more nimble version of the 335i. I am trading it in for the 1 series m coupe.
PS... My family sedan is a 535i; even with the added weight, it would destroy you.

@66AGW 335i is just a fast daily driver's car. It is only as fast as e46 M3 on a straight line , but as the road get's twisted 335 falls behind. e92 M3 will destroy 335 in any conditions .

Yep, 135 is fractionally quicker b/c of its lighter weight, but it's cramped and with little storage, despite the report saying it's as comfortable as the 335. I'll take my 335i any day for drive-ability.

the g37 made the 335i stumble. the g37 made the twin turbo inline six overheat and go into limp mode. g37 did not overheat and makes better hp and a nicer sound.

@mets558 Reliability, the American engines only have to be within 3% of a perfect balance, while German engines are within 1%, it makes a difference when your talking about years of use, not just the term of a lease. Why would one person need to drive a vehicle designed for 7 everyday? its a waste of space and fuel.

The 135i comfortable? For whom?!? A 120 lb bulemic? The only thing more uncomfortable than those seats would be full-on racing bucket seats. I'm a 5'8" average sized man, and it was stabbing me in the sides GOING STRAIGHT. I let my friends ride it and only my 5'3" skinny guy thought the seats were OK, and ONLY THEN OK. Finally, the 135i has rear seats only for people with no legs. Utterly stupid. InsideLine has lost my respect.

First of all, an m3 doesn not go 0-60 in 5.4 secs, seriously. And, the m3, at least nowadays is way more expensive than the 135.
