Great song ideas requires a great band to perform! Their songwriting is just superb... music and lyrics are mind blowing with themes that dwells from ancient history through time travel... what else can you ask for? I worked this concert in Evansville In (Mesker Amplitheater) helped carry eddys head -behind drums. Accept opened, I almost caught on fire from one of the flash bombs. Best concert ever!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion, they are the greatest metal band EVER! They are one of my favorite heavy metal bands - them and Judas Priest. The thing that makes Maiden different from other bands in the genre is their amazing vocals and their lyrics. They don't just sing about stupid crap: all of their songs are individual stories with there own plots. Let's see some other band try that and rock as hard as these guys!

Its neat how Somewhere back in time is almost like a copy of Live after death, I mean...they did play a handful of songs that are on both tours, I was un happy tho that they didnt play phantom of the opera, running free or the prisoner ( LONG SHOT but whatever) during the tour this year..
